The room was very nice and clean. The automated appliances were exceptional. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lounge and shared appliances were also good. If you like being around 798 art zone then this place would be perfect, because it is literally from across the street.

Set in Dali, 4.6 km from Goddess of Mercy Temple, Blue Sea Hotel offers accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. We stayed at Blue Sea Resort for nine nights over Chinese New Year, and we had an amazing time. The room was spacious with a great view and was very warm and comfortable. It was great to get a nice breakfast every morning, cooked to order. The hotel is right on the lake, in a beautiful and quiet spot, not as busy as the some of the other sports along the lake and was nice and quiet, even during the busy period. It is easy to get a Didi to take you into the old town, that takes less that 15 minutes, so everything is very accessible, so the best of both worlds. The owner of the hotel Mr Young, is extremely friendly, he contacted us in advance and helped us to arrange a car from the airport and from then on was always available to help us with anything that we needed and prepared breakfast for us whenever we were ready in the morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely be back!

Location is perfect next to Guilin railway station and bus station. Facilities are good, beds are big and comfy, rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is really good and helpful. They helped us book our train by writing our destinations in Chinese so it was much more easier at the train counter. The can also recommend you with good places to eat nearby. They kept our luggages a few days too while traveling.

Located in Yangshuo, The Bamboo Leaf Yangshuo offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. the staff were so helpful, literally anything I asked for they obliged. 24/6 support. the restaurant does great food too

Situated in the heart of Lijiang Ancient Town, 7 to 8 minutes' walk from Dashuiche and Square Street, Jianshe Inn offers simple Japanese-style accommodation. A 10 star rating is an understatement for the hospitality and warmth we received. The location is beautiful, a stunning terrace with an overview of the old town, lots of plants and pretty flowers. We got a room upgrade for free and the room was spacious, well equipped (best equipped room in fact we had in China). You can tell that a lot of love and attention to detail was put into the design of this accomodation. The location is very central yet quiet at night. The highlight of it all was the lovely, generous and genuine owner. She took time to recommend us great restaurants and vegetarian dishes. Checked in on us regularly to make sure we are having a great time. And when I was sick she even brought food and medicine. It felt like home and being taken care of by family. I have never experienced such a hospitality and am very grateful. I highly, highly recommend this place when you're visiting Yunnan. The owner has travelled all over the world and has lots of interesting stories and insights to share, definitely recommend you to have a chat with her over tea.
