Featuring free WiFi, a restaurant and a sun terrace, Cloud9 Dominica offers accommodation in Calibishie, 41 km from Terre-de-Haut. This property was such a treat...a beautiful property that is operated with care and attention to detail. We stayed here for six nights over New Years, and by the time we left we felt so connected to this place and had gotten a great feel for life in Dominica. Thank you Sherrie and Tom for the amazing hospitality. The property itself is modern, clean and beautifully designed by Sherrie with amazingly functional details with a beautiful aesthetic. This is a custom-built home consisting of 4-5 apartments. Our apartment was an amazing 1,100 sf space with a kitchen, amazing bathroom suite, and wraparound deck with brilliant views of the mountains and Atlantic ocean. There is also a roof-top deck, which is a great place to relax and watch the sunset. Calibishie has a lot to offer on the north end of Dominica, with great access to the airport, and some wonderful local attractions and beaches...Batibou Beach, Red Rocks, and Number One Beach, as well as good restaurants. This property also has a lovely path down to a great beach with a freshwater river flowing into a small bay. Tom provided delicious and nutritious breakfasts for mornings that we were eating at the hotel, which was also a great opportunity to talk about the coming day and to visit with other guests. Both Tom and Sherrie were always available by phone, text or in-person, and provided us great information about what to see and do during our week on island. They have great relationships in the local community, and everywhere we went on the north end of Dominica folks seemed to know them! Located on a hill in the village of Picard, this Portsmouth hotel offers views of Prince Rupert Bay and is a 5-minute walk from Ross University. I loved the fact that all of the staff were so friendly and helpful. That Lise the owner took the trouble every morning to ensure all of the guests had their day planned and arranged their transport, and I loved the teamwork between the hotel, the taxi firm Trinity and the local tour attractions. It made our stay very relaxed and very enjoyable.

We were able to enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the terrace on our room. We enjoyed using the pool, and the Jacuzzi with views of the mountains across the bay. The service and quality in the restaurants were very good, and the hotel helped plan high quality excusions around the beautiful island. The hotel is located right in the centre of Roseau making it easy to explore this interesting and friendly Caribbean capital.

Really liked the coffee and breakfast every morning. Enjoyed the small pool. The staff was very friendly and very helpful, Annette and Stefan, as well as their employees. It was nice that all staff spoke English. Room size turned out pretty good and it was clean. Annette and Stefan were outstanding in setting up airport pickup and tours, and were able and ready to share lots of info! The view is fabulous!

Offering a restaurant and free Wi-Fi throughout the property, Natty Tropical Valley is in the rainforest outside of Trafalgar Village, a 15-minute drive from Roseau. De stay Twitter days in the wonderful wooden house of natty and we loved it so much. It’s very comfy and in the heart of the forest. It’s so beautiful and so close from the village where you can you go to eat and to the different hiking !!! You have also a natural hot bath!!! Amaizing!!!!

Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Mango Island Lodges offers accommodation in Saint Joseph.The hotel has an outdoor pool and sun terrace, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink... This is really a delightful property which Karine and Stephan have poured themselves into, and it really shows. Our room was really tastefully decorated and designed, with small touches that made it very comfortable. The overall atmosphere at the lodge is really intimate, this property has less than 10 rooms, and so we found ourselves wandering into the restaurant in the evenings and mornings and likely to be making friends with the other guests. All of the meals that we enjoyed at the lodge were excellent, the menu provided good variety and everything tasted fresh and was artfully prepared. Try one of the homemade sorbets for desert! The views from the restaurant and pool are great, and the grounds are fantastic, with a lot of care put into creating a peaceful atmosphere. All of the staff were engaging and helpful. We are a mid-fifties professional couple traveling from the U.S. We spent a week in Calibishie in the northeast, and then spent four nights at Mango Island, which location provides really good location to all of the activities in the central and southern parts of Dominica. Mero Beach is a nice local beach with good amenities. Mero can get crowded on days when a cruise ship is on island, so on those days we went to Salisbury Beach, which is not visited by cruise ships, and it was beautiful there, thanks for the good tip Karine.
