Every staff member we interacted with were wonderful, especially Adele at the front desk and Tomas in the restaurant. This hotel is top notch and we decided to book another stay here towards the end of our trip because we loved it so much! The dinner was fabulous! We enjoyed every part of it from the homemade bread to the delicious main courses to the incredible desserts!!

Situated in Gardur, Lighthouse-Inn offers accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a sun terrace and sea views. All units feature air conditioning and a satellite flat-screen TV. This place was amazing. The location was ideal — especially as I had been to Iceland before and I was only doing an overnight stay (and didn’t need to drive into Reykjavik.) The facilities and breakfast were great. The location allowed me to have a short stroll to the lighthouse and get some great aurora photos!

Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodation 5 km from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There’s two beautiful hot tubs facing the lake.

Hotell Hótel Jökulsárlón - Glacier Lagoon asub Höfnis, 11 km kaugusel Jokulsarloni liustikulaguunist. Kohapeal on spordikeskus, tasuta eraparkla, restoran ja baar. Definitely a memorable experience and would even dare to say, a mandatory stop on your Icelandic roadtrip. Not only was the breakfast the best food we had in Iceland with a great variety of fresh dishes, the location of the hotel is unique (our room had a view to the lush green mountains that are incredibly scenic), the staff was extremely kind and attentive (with a special shout out to the Portuguese gentleman) and facilities makes you stay for a longer period of time (i.e., Spa, thermal baths, ice showers and relaxation rooms overlooking the glaciers and giving an great sense of calmness and relaxation). In short, a highlight of our trip to Iceland

Our stay was absolutely delightful. Mr. Haukur , was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, sharing valuable insights about Iceland. The cozy ambiance, spacious rooms, and 24-hour coffee and drinks added to the premium feel of the hotel. It was the perfect start to our Icelandic journey. Highly recommended!

Siglo Hotel by Keahotels in Siglufjörður has 4-star accommodation with a terrace and a bar. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a shared lounge, as well as a sauna and a hot tub. cozy accommodation in a top structure, ideally located. The hotel is very well equipped, with all sort of comfort at a very high level. Modern equipment in a design traditionally rooted, easy to use. Very clean, with a particular attention to details. Environmental policy is one of the priorities, well-done!! Really friendly and helpful personnel. The village and the harbor are pearls. Next to a charger for electric cars, few steps to the famous herring museum, the church and the bakery. Highly recommended hotel.
