If you’re westerner traveling around South-Eastern Asia you probably know that there are almost no hotels without specific troubles. But Khmer House Boutique is a rare exclusion. It’s a wonderful hotel near the city center of Siem Reap - two steps from the best music bar of the town - The Laundry bar. The territory is small and cozy jungle around the swimming pool. Restaurant is also here, at the hidden inner garden. We had a twin room with two beds - queen size and single (it was cheaper then a double room, or it was unavailable). Very clean and new room, with shining white bed cloths and big bathroom with a shower. Everything is new and stylish. What I estimated most is an air conditioning system: it makes air fresh and cool very quickly but not blowing directly to the bed (it’s a big trouble of most Asian hotels for those who doesn’t use AC in everyday life, as me, and immediately starting coughing and sneezing because of the cold air). And finally I need to say about the personnel. It’s very polite and helpful but absolutely not annoying. Girls and guys at the reception are very good in English, well educated and very pleasant to speak about different aspects of Cambodian life. My special thanks to the prettiest Srey Pich and Monika from the reception and hotel restaurant for their kind help and wonderful small talks. Unfortunately, had no selfie with them:(

Centrally located in Phnom Penh, Plantation Urban Resort & Spa is situated directly behind the Royal Palace. Never seen this very friendly and helpful staff before. The rooms are good equipt and the swimming pool in a tropical garden. All is high quality and good located. I can only say, go there and see yourself, you will not disappointed.

Jungle in the city centre - To explore the city on foot at your own leisurely pace, “The Urban” is the best choice. It's an excellent hotel. The best by far in Siem Reap. The staff and management are absolutely top-notch!! On arrival, I have been served with a refreshing drink and fruits while they were busy checking me in. The hotel itself is beyond expectations. Beautiful, well-kept gardens and swimming pool. Spacious room and very quiet. Highly recommend, and I will stay here again.
