The equipment is completely new and the decoration is "Aggiornada" in contrast to the original structure. The Hotel has old patios and a garden at the back with a swimming pool. Perfectly located, between the main Plaza 9 de Julio and the Balcarce peñas for going out at night. This hotel is gorgeous. It’s located in town, but the rooms are completely silent at night. The staff were very helpful, and we loved the egg and avocado toast breakfast. The medialunas were also memorable. My partner loved the music selection in the lobby: jazz, which is enough for him to love the entire experience of staying here.

I stayed in an upstairs room and one downstairs room. If you can ask for one upstairs, I felt it provided slightly more privacy and less light (just my personal preference to have complete darkness in a room). Walking distance to many restaurants and the square. Also, tourist office are a couple of blocks away if you want to do some tours. I believe the hotel will provide options as well. Hotel staff were lovely. And it was a perk that they spoke English since my Spanish is extremely lacking. Breakfast was nice and had a few options yo select from. Will choose this hotel again, if I am back in Salta.
