I only stayed for one night while visiting with friends in Shumen, and I wish I could've stayed longer. I really liked how bright the room is - no dark, dirty carpets and heavy, dark furniture. I never really thought about it before, but hotel rooms can be quite dark and depressing. Not this one, though. The woman who checked me in was super friendly and welcoming, and the next day, when I was running late for check-out and called her, she was understanding and waited for me to arrive, even though I'd told her they could go in and start cleaning since my bag was packed and I just needed to pick it up. The bathroom was spacious and the shower seemed new. The bed was pretty comfortable and the entire place was very quiet during my stay, even though the hotel was at capacity. The hotel is close to the central pedestrian street and also not far from the start of the steps that take you to the Founders of the Bulgarian State monument. Would definitely stay here again when I visit my friends in the future!

Osmarski Houses ligger i Osmar, 28 km fra Madara Rider, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse samt gratis privat parkering. Beautifully renovated traditional Bulgarian house. Super clean and comfortable room. The food is exceptional and we enjoy walking to the Stone Monastery and exploring the area. Teo is a great host. This is our second visit to the property and each visit was perfect. Teo and Despina set up a great winery tour and tasting for us which was really appreciated. Loved walking trails with their dog Sugar who will follow you anywhere!

Familly Art Hotel Nirvana ligger i Sjumen, 19 km fra Madara Rider, og har en have, en terrasse og en restaurant samt gratis privat parkering. As always a great stay. The food is always amazing and tasty. As always the staff is very wlecoming and really helpful in case we need anything. Definitely the place to go when in Shumen
