I was there for 15 days this time with my boyfriend. We had a blast. Welton, the bartender at the lobby is a great guy, provided service The staff makes us feel very welcome and at home. Every time we needed anything they took care of it and was fast.

Pousada Portas da Amazônia was a very charming place to stay, perfectly located for a visit to the historic center of São Luís. The building was full of historic character, with a lovely courtyard for breakfast. The air conditioning and bathroom facilities worked well, and everything was clean. The staff was helpful with booking a last-minute transfer to Barreirinhas and also offers bookings with tour agencies in Lençóis Maranhenses national park.

Very nice breakfast. The rooms are very big, a lot of space, and very clean as well. I loved the shower. Very comfortable extras like a fridge, a lot of TV channels, … for a three star hotel I thought this is very good.
