Piccolo Hotel har en rolig beliggenhed, 8 minutters gang fra Locarno Station og byens centrum. This boutique hotel is ideally located in a quiet area of Locarno. The breakfast buffet has an excellent variety of regional meats, eggs, fruits, and breads. It’s only a short walk to the train station. They also offered the Ticino Card, which made access to public transportation easy! The hotel is family run. Nikoli was very helpful with information about the area. Would definitely stay here again!

Villa Principe Leopoldo can be found amid a large park above Lugano, offering panoramic views of Lake Lugano and the mountains, and featuring leisure, sport and wellness facilities, as well as... We absolutely loved our stay! Gorgeous views, wonderful staff, and the food was amazing. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were large. We had a wonderful time.

The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station. Skønt område, tæt på stationen, og med kun 15 minutter ned til centrum. Ganske fredeligt.

The family-run Continental Parkhotel is located 200 metres south of the main railway station of Lugano, where the funicular leaves regularly for the city centre. Personalet var tydeligvis godt sammentømret og godt ledet. Èn stor familie - eller næsten. De havde det godt sammen, og det smittede af på den måde, de behandlede gæsterne. Maden var virkelig lækker. Både i restauranten og ved morgenbuffet'en, som aldrig løb tør for fristelser. Restauranten har på vinkortet lækre hvide og røde vine af egen produktion. De park-vendte værelser var skønne og blev rengjort dagligt medens vi spiste morgenmad. Der var ingen støj fra gangen, andre værelser eller forbipasserende tog. Aftenbaren med Happy Hour 17-18 var også et hit. Poolområdet med bar fungerede godt og der var tillige skyggefulde liggestole under vinranker, som hørte til det lille winery, som hotellet driver.
