Staff were so friendly, the breakfast exceeded expectations and those fresh local croissants were everything! Loved the vibe and artwork. A beautiful hotel in every aspect:))

This boutique hotel is ideally located in a quiet area of Locarno. The breakfast buffet has an excellent variety of regional meats, eggs, fruits, and breads. It’s only a short walk to the train station. They also offered the Ticino Card, which made access to public transportation easy! The hotel is family run. Nikoli was very helpful with information about the area. Would definitely stay here again!

The Romantik Hotel Castello Seeschloss is located on the lake-side promenade of Ascona, 300 metres from the centre. It offers historic-style rooms and free internet access. The service was exceptional. From the welcome to the upgrade to the dining room staff to the service team, everyone was friendly and went out of their way. It was genuine and made us feel welcome, relaxed, and wanting to return.

Once a patrician residence built in the 18th century, the Hotel Tamaro can be found right on the banks of Lake Maggiore in the centre of Ascona. The hotel was in a great location, the room was very comfortable and clean, the staff was very helpful and friendly, and the food was great.

The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station. Despite being a hostel near the train station, it was very nice and quiet. The staff was very nice and helpful. They will provide lockers, vending machines, coffee machine and plenty of space in the fridge as well as facilities to make your own food. And the location is amazing only 5min from train station.

The family-run Continental Parkhotel is located 200 metres south of the main railway station of Lugano, where the funicular leaves regularly for the city centre. This place has everything! Amazing breakfast, bedroom balcony view of lake, fantastic swimming pool, bar, cocktails, happy hour and 2 minute walk to train station and fenicular down to the Lugano centre.
