Everything was perfectly designed and well thought out from the modern architecture and interiors to the small gardens and the excellent breakfast. Very comfortable and quiet, with great value for money. The croissants and bread were outstanding! Location is also a big plus: close to the city center, the lake and, above all, the train station. A perfect stay.

El Piccolo Hotel goza de una ubicación tranquila, a 8 minutos a pie de la estación de tren de Locarno y del centro de la ciudad. This boutique hotel is ideally located in a quiet area of Locarno. The breakfast buffet has an excellent variety of regional meats, eggs, fruits, and breads. It’s only a short walk to the train station. They also offered the Ticino Card, which made access to public transportation easy! The hotel is family run. Nikoli was very helpful with information about the area. Would definitely stay here again!

El Hotel Tamaro es una antigua casa señorial del siglo XVIII, situada a orillas del lago Mayor, en el centro de Ascona. The hotel was really nice, the staff were super helpful & friendly. Location was great.

Fantastic location.. restarants just close to you...dont forget to ask the hotel for the free public transport ticket its free as long you stay in the hotel ...if u arrive in lugano central dont walk to the hotel its difficult i suffered alot by going down with my luggage..take the bus from the station
