Ideally situated in the centre of Lugano, LUGANODANTE Boutique & Lifestyle Hotel is within 300 metres of Lugano Station and 1.3 km of Exhibition Center Lugano. I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Lugano and just a short walk to Piazza della Riforma, the charming Christmas markets, and the main shopping district. Being right next door to the funicular/cable car to the train station made arrival and departure incredibly easy. The food was a highlight. Breakfast was incredible with a huge variety of continental and English options, including plenty of vegetarian choices. We also had a very good dinner at the restaurant. The hotel had a lovely festive vibe, but what truly stood out was the service. Every staff member was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Highly recommend!

Piccolo Hotel enjoys a quiet location, an 8-minute walk from the Locarno Train Station and the centre of the city. The room was lovely and the breakfast provided was superb. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

The Romantik Hotel Castello Seeschloss is located on the lake-side promenade of Ascona, 300 metres from the centre. It offers historic-style rooms and free internet access. Absolutely perfect. If you want to feel welcomed and relaxed- that’s the place. The receptionist was really nice, the room was clean and comfortable. The pool, the garden, the restaurant all perfect. I highly recommend.

Right on the shore of Lake Lugano, this family-run 4-star hotel offers restaurants, free WiFi, and a south-facing outdoor pool with direct lake access. The centre of Lugano is a 10-minute walk away. One of the best hotels I've ever been to. Spacious and very comfortable room, very clean as well, and excellent breakfast. And what could I say about the view? What a view! The combination with the lake surrounded by the mountains is surreal. We will definitely go back soon.

Once a patrician residence built in the 18th century, the Hotel Tamaro can be found right on the banks of Lake Maggiore in the centre of Ascona. Hotel is located in the middle of the lakeside promenade. Wonderful views😍

The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station. Every thing. From staff to location to clean place it was very good. If I ever go back to Lugano I will go back there again

Situated on the lake promenade near the traffic-free centre of Lugano, Hotel Walter Au Lac offers you rooms with superb lake views. WiFi is free of charge. All air-conditioned rooms are renovated. The location was excellent, walking distance to the main train station. We had a gorgeous view of the lake and mountains. The hotel gave us free city bus tickets to use for our stay! Also, the breakfast was great for us and had a beautiful view.
