The Château d'Ouchy is a renovated medieval castle with an original donjon (keep) in a scenic location in Lausanne, directly on the shores of Lake Geneva. Staff was very friendly, the pool was quiet and very cozy early in the morning and later in the afternoon. During the day it gets a bit busy. The location of the hotel is simply amazing. It has lake view and is really few meters away from the promenade.

Though named a "hotel" it was more like guests hosted in a holiday home. The Swiss charm envelopes the property, very comfortable for what it is. We had an excellent lake view. We loved being able to get up and walk around the lake and there were so many restaurants so close. Room was clean and well equipped and the cleaning staff were super friendly. A great overall experience. Vevey is such a beautiful and friendly city.
