Since we are also travelling with a pet, we are happily surprised to find that there is also a prepared bed, cutlery, and treats for our cat. This is definitely our first choice of hotel when visiting Dresden.

The Townhouse Dresden offers extremely spacious, well-appointed rooms and suites within walking distance of the Zwinger Palace, the Semper Opera House and the congress centre. Our beautiful holiday home is close to the center and only a few minutes' walk from the Saxon Switzerland National Park. Modernly furnished with Italian flair. Have breakfast on our beautiful terrace or in the conservatory. Use our 24/7 bar and enjoy... Spacious, comfortable and very nice for a family. Right next to the bath and close to the town as well as a good starting point for hiking.

All rooms include includes a 42-inch flat-screen TV, a telephone, mini-fridge, safe, desk, free WiFi and a bathroom with shower and hairdryer. The location is amazing—right in the center of the old town and directly adjacent to the Striezelmarkt (Christmas Market). The buffet breakfast had everything that our family could possibly want, including vegetarian and vegan options, and sparkling wine for a mimosa toast. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, especially the front desk manager (the man with an American English accent—sorry, I didn’t write his name down). This is the second time we’ve stayed here, and hopefully we can do it again soon!

Each room at the Motel One includes a flat-screen satellite TV as well as soundproofing and air conditioning. The bathroom includes a rain shower. The staff were friendly and amiable. I have a gluten free diet and this was accommodated at breakfast time. I also needed to use the hotel fridge on one occasion and staff enabled me to do this with ease. The bar staff were also very friendly and amiable.
