The property was small and well-managed. Very clean and comfortable, with helpful staff. A simple and high-quality breakfast was included. This is a great spot to stay if you want a bit of beach and bit of time in the city.

A beautiful balance of rustic and classical in a stunning rural setting, this hotel is located beside the Picos de Europa National Park in the Liébana Valley. It boasts an elegant restaurant. Very cozy place. Very clean. Decorations with a lot of good taste. Very good breakfast. There were plenty og tables and umbrellas in the garden so you can stay and relax anytime of the day or stay late night for a glass of wine. Very good and attentive stuff. Hats off! Would return anytime.

Posada La Torre de La Quintana is housed in a listed historical building that breathes an air of nobility and aristocracy, surrounded by the beautiful lush Cantabrian countryside. The setting is lovely and so is the staff.

Offering a garden and garden view, Pension Castio is set in Santillana del Mar, 31 km from Santander Port and 31 km from El Sardinero Casino. This was the BEST place we stayed while on the Camino! Absolutely stunning accommodations and the owner/host is super nice. Everything was clean, spacious, and provided a great atmosphere.

Located in Noja, 500 metres from Trengandin Beach, Posada La Mies features a shared lounge and views of the city. Very quaint. Very nice and helpful owner. Excellent breakfast. Great location to find dinner or a drink.

Posada La Torre de los Isla is a restored 17th-century building located in Beranga, Cantabria. It features a spa with hydrotherapy pool and a hot tub. Excellent 17th century inn with pool, jacuzzi, and a comfortable bedroom. Have been on the Camino de Santiago and the albergue we were to stay at became problematic. This option came up and I'm glad we took it.

Set in Cerrazo, 33 km from Santander Port, Hotel Palacio La Casona de Cerrazo offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Very cosy and ambient hotel in the picturesque surrounds of Cantabria. Close to the main roads and the famous historical sights. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Spacious parking. The place has a character. It is comfortable and decorated with passion. The owner is great and goes extra mile to help you. The hotel has a very well stocked bar and breakfast was very nice.

Offering charming rooms with rustic décor, La Hotel Rural El Angel de la Guarda is set in the small village of Güemes, 6 km from the beaches at Langre. It offers a beautiful setting ideal for hiking. The name of the hotel speaks for itself. We were under the protection of angels. The decor of the hotel is amazing. Everything was done to match the century before last, you feel like you’re in a fairy tale. The staff is very attentive and friendly. In the common room you can drink tea or coffee from fine china cups at any time. Absolutely homely atmosphere.
