Egli Hotel, a neoclassical mansion offering traditionally furnished rooms is centrally located on the pedestrian walkway of Andros' Chora.. Several main attractions, museums and restaurants are within walking distance. The hotel is in the centre of Chora - shops and restaurants within short walking distance. Although we arrived much earlier than check-in time, we received a warm welcome from Maria and were shown to our room. The room looks old fashioned but is lacking nothing. Good breakfast with home made jams, yoghurt, eggs, juice. Hospitality gets a new meaning here. Excellent stay.

This hotel offers privacy and seclusion, whilst at the same time conveniently located within a short walking distance of 600 metres from the centre of the village. Enjoy your breakfast and light snacks in the bar area or poolside terrace, take a relaxing bathe in the pool and unwind under the soothing sun. We had an amazing time at Mare Vista. We stayed for three weeks and it was absolutely perfect. The bedroom was very spacious and the bed very comfortable. The view from our balcony was breathtaking. There was plenty of water in the bathroom which might be rare on an island (last year we stayed in an other hotel and they would often run out of water). The room is cleaned and fresh towels are provided everyday. The location is great, right above Batsì, one of the main centers of the island. At breakfast there was a wide variety of choice and all food was delicious. All the staff was amazing. A special mention for Sophia who works at the reception. She’s a very kind and friendly woman whom now we can call a friend. She has a lovely dog, Leonidas, we would have taken him back home with us but he loves his mama too much and so does she 🤣 We’ll always cherish the wonderful moments we had at Mare Vista.
