Excellent location, just a few minutes from St. Stephen’s Basilica and the 100E airport bus stop. Spacious, comfortable and clean room, and very kind and helpful staff. A pleasant surprise was the plate of macarons waiting for us in the room, following our prior notification about the special occasion.

This is by far the best hostel I have stayed at and experienced so far. It's a huge, gorgeous hostel located near the tram stop 'Zsil Utca'. 1. The hostel was super clean. It smelt of jasmine & lavendar 24 hrs a day! 2. Spacious toilet, plenty of spacious showers equipped with body wash on each floor 3. There are three kitchens in the hostel. One will find plenty of crockery and kitchenware on all three of them (including fridge) 4. Well decorated, beautiful interiors! 5. The bar/breakfast area was super spacious, well lit & the ambience is great! 6. The rooms were posh, clean, and warmly lit. Each bed had a bedside study light, curtain and space to keep personal stuffs! 7. I celebrated the New Year in the hostel and it was the best thing I did in Budapest. I got the chance to socialize and celebrate with local hungarians and many like-minded travellers. 8. Don't miss out on the terrace! It's small but sexy!

Great location & super helpful staff. Great communication and easy check in. The neighbourhood is great but not the place to stay if you are on a family trip. Great place if you are planning to take in the nightlife and like feeling the pulse of the city.

In the centre of Budapest, the Maverick Budapest Soho hostel is 750 meters from the Deák Ferenc Tér transfer station for all 3 city’s metro lines; it features air-conditioned rooms, free WiFi in all... The staff were excellent YAS was wonderful and everyone was welcoming….all the front desk team were friendly and smiling Great value for money. Cozy

Lovely hotel with a small number of rooms in a great location in Budapest (near Jewish Quarter). We arrived back each evening around 10pm and area felt very safe. Breakfast was totally delicious and coffee/tea is available in the breakfast area at all times. We were there at very end of November to see Christmas markets - weather around 3 degrees - hotel warm but not hot (perfect!). Room was large with coat stand (amazing with our HUGE winter coats!) and large-shower room as ensuite - all were spotlessly clean. TV in room worked, as did hairdryer. Tea facilities weren't tried as we used downstairs tea and coffee facilities. Our room - room 16 was accessed via wide staircase and outside courtyard veranda (this didn't bother us) and a small atrium. Room had courtyard view so was lovely and quiet - aiding a great night's sleep. Beds were firm but not too much so - and very comfortable. Metro, tram and buses are a short walk away and hotel staff helped us download the public transport app so we could buy and validate tickets online. Reception staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, making sure we had what we needed, stowing our luggage both on arrival and at check out. Would not stay anywhere else when going to Budapest!
