This Ryokan is exceptional. So clean and well appointed. The family are so friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We loved our dinner in the dining room that we booked in advance. We were very fortunate to be visiting at Christmas time and the Christmas dinner had so much thought and time put into it, making it a very memorable meal and stay for our family.

Sumiyoshi Ryokan ligger kun 1 minuts gang fra det populære Miyagawa Morning Market i hjertet af Takayama. Det er indrettet i hjemlig japansk stil i det historiske byhus. We had a beautiful room looking out over the river and gardens. Our room had a private toilet and wash basin, with access to the public/shared onsen/bath. The hosts were very amenable and friendly. Highly recommend if you want a traditional experience of Japanese hospitality.

Det stilfulde AKARI et KAORI tidligere Taizanso er designet af Shinji Kagawa og ligger 10 minutters kørsel fra Shuzenji Station. Staff were very welcoming. Room was large and very comfortable. The onsens were excellent and not crowded. The dinner and breakfast that were included were supreme. Some of the best Japanese food we’ve tasted.

The Meitetsu Grand Hotel offers bright rooms with free WiFi, 3 restaurants and a sky lounge café with panoramic city views. Old hotel but very well maintained. Located right at central of Nagoya , near JR line and local train make it so easy to go anywhere

Chaya Hotel ligger blot 40 m fra den restaurerede stationsby Magome-Juka fra Edo-perioden og har enkle, traditionelle værelser med futon-sengetøj og tatami-stråmåttegulv. Mega sød vært , fin information meget rent og rigtig lækker japansk mad. Kan varmt anbefale det.
