Shiba Park Hotel is just a 2-minute walk from Onarimon Subway Station and a 4-minute walk from Daimon Subway Station. Everything especially the books and reading nooks. The kind staff and free coffee. The special drinks for the holiday and well thought out room while small was so well designed it felt larger than it was.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and was the perfect start to our Japan trip. From the moment we arrived, staff welcomed us with warm smiles and were so accommodating. The room was spacious, immaculate and with a beautiful view of the Christmas lights and lit up stairs of the Solamachi Mall. Beds were comfortable, loved the bath and shower too. Breakfast at the Sizzler was delicious and so fresh, had amazing salads every morning and loved the variety they had with Japanese and Western style dishes. Location was superb, and the big supermarket downstairs was so convenient! Also appreciated that there were microwaves available for use (I love getting meals from the grocery store!) It was fun walking across the road to the mall, and we also went to the Aquarium and Christmas market at Skytree. We enjoyed walking Sensoji temple and around Asakusa from the hotel. It was easy to get around on the train to all the main attractions we wanted to see in Tokyo. Would definitely stay here again!

Opened in August 2014 after a thorough renovation, Hotel Ryumeikan Ochanomizu Honten has been offering heartfelt hospitality for more than a century. A real hidden gem and one of the best first stays we've had. Everything was perfect, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The location is ideally situated in a very quiet neighborhood while still being conveniently close to stations. The bathroom and amenities were excellent, and the beds were as comfy as ever. We also appreciated having access to a free, accessible laundry room. We highly recommend this beautiful place to stay.
