Denne bungalow fra 1930'erne ligger på en 98 hektar stor teplantage ved foden af Knuckles-bjergkæden. The private waterfall was the highlight of this property. Plus the decor, interior and view from the property was wonderful. Great hospitality provided by the team. You can easily spend a day or two exploring the 98 acres.

I loved my stay at Hotel Sigiriya! Beautiful view of the rock from pool, close drive to hikes in the area and an easy walk to local cafes and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable.

Det historiske Bed & Breakfast i Sri Lanka Dambulla Rock Arch ligger 3,1 km fra grottetemplet Dambulla og tilbyder siddepladser under en tropisk have med baldakin. What a marvelous find! Utterly charming accommodation just off the main road, but open to farmland at the back and surrounded by a lovely garden. You would never guess you are in the centre of a busy town. The rooms are probably the best we stayed in during our trip (including much more expensive hotels). Lovely comfortable bed with mosquito net tent. There is a separate kitchen area with a small fridge, kettle and tea/coffee supplies and plates and cutlery. There is also a space with a luggage rack and place to hang clothes. The bathroom is large with premium fittings and hot water. There is a nice terrace with chairs out front and even a little yard at the back with a washing line. The breakfast area is so lovely, partially open with a fish pond. And the breakfast was superb. Beautifully home cooked Sri Lankan food, with European options too. The family are very sweet and helpful and arranged a tour to Sigiriya, followed by an elephant safari at Minneriya. Absolutely wonderful. No hesitation in recommending this lovely place.
