Offering an outdoor swimming pool and a spa and wellness centre, Amaranthe Bay Resort & Spa is located just 5 km north of the Trincomalee town on the beautiful East Coast of Sri Lanka. The hotel is very good. Room is clean and spacious. The view on the bay is gorgeous. It’s relatively close to the beach and the ocean in this area is very clean and warm. We spent here 4 nights with our 3 years old son and we all had a wonderful time. The staff is very attentive. I especially want to highlight the man at the pool area and the guys from the restaurant, especially Kirujan , who was very helpful with all our needs. The food was delicious and varied. Definitely recommend this hotel. From what we’ve seen that’s probably the best resort in the area.

Trinco Blu by Cinnamon is a luxurious 4-star beachfront resort located 6.5 km from Trincomalee. It provides spacious accommodation with a freshwater pool, 3 dining options and free Wi-Fi. Lovely staff at pool and in both restaurants. Excellent choice of Sri Lankan, Indian and Western food - superb quality. Amazing 30 metre pool. Lovely long beach for walks and great sea swimming. A local and international clientele. Great location - last property before the fishing village so felt very peaceful with huge clean beach front.

Anantamaa Hotel is tucked away in Trincomalee just steps away from the beach. Enjoy soothing spa treatments at the wellness centre or spend a quiet afternoon relaxing by the outdoor pool. Green beautiful garden, clean rooms, cheerful n helpful staff. Met owner who was down to earth being rich! Breakfast portion was large! We couldnt eat . Very delicious fruit platter
