It was one of the rare lovely apartments where we were able to sleep peacefully with an open window without earplugs :) Very quiet at night, balcony door had a mosquito net. Clean, neat. Perfect location - shopping mall and restaurants nearby and - !!! the best quietest beach area - Playa Xamanha is nearby, with the clearest water we found in Playa del Carmen (and we walked along the coast a lot, from Playa Nube to Playacar).

The room was decorated to perfection with lots of charm and character, and plenty of space to spread out. My son loved swinging on the hammock in the middle of the room. The pool was just a few steps from our room and a beautiful little oasis surrounded by flowering trees. Breakfast was delicious and included local honey.

Although the hotel is located on a very busy street—which, by the way, cannot be accessed by car—the soundproofing was excellent. The room was very beautiful, stylish, and well decorated. There is a cozy courtyard, and everything was clean and well maintained. The street itself is very noisy, but for a short stay and getting to know Playa del Carmen, it’s a perfect choice.

The location was amazing, really quite and can enjoy the (private) Beach. We have enjoyed it that much and extended one more Day. The staff are friendly and attentive, plus the breakfast was very good.

Nestled in a tropical setting, just steps from the beach, this hotel in Tulum is surrounded by a variety of activities and offers amenities such as free wireless internet access. The staff and management were so welcoming, very accommodating and helpful during our entire 9 night stay. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy the whole trip. The beach is beautiful and raked every day, sun loungers and bean bag chairs were awesome. The rooms are very soundproofed, and the beds extremely comfortable. Super clean and immaculate room. The food at the beach bar/restaurant was very good.

Attractively situated in the centre of Tulum, XscapeTulum features air-conditioned rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and a garden. This 4-star hotel offers a shared lounge and room service. We loved everything about Xscape. Super helpfull and friendly staff. Big sized room (apartment) with our own pool. Everything feelt very modern and we really liked the design. We had our own microwave, fridge/freezer, coffemaker and there was a safe to lock our valuables. Shampoo, soap, towels.. In other words everything we needed for a comfortable stay!

Featuring Mexican-style décor, Hotel Casa Colibri is a sea-front boutique hotel located in the heart of Playa del Carmen. Absolutely loved everything about this place, location, staff, food, the rooms. Every detail was thought through; staff 247/- we had a 4am checkout and one of the staff members Hector offered to have coffee ready- he was above helpful and sent us links to activities, locations etc. The rooms are super comfortable and large, the facilities are clean and comfortable. The beach club where you can have breakfast, dinner and drinks is beautiful and the free breakfast was amazing.

The location is absolutely perfect – right on the beach with stunning sea views and just a short walk to 5th Avenue, restaurants, and shops. The hotel has a cozy, authentic atmosphere and feels much more personal than large resorts. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and waking up to the sound of the ocean was a real highlight. The staff truly made the stay special. Carolina and Lino at the reception were always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. At the restaurant, America, Eduardo, Isaac and others provided excellent service and made every breakfast and meal enjoyable. Everyone was attentive and genuinely cared about guests’ comfort. The beach club area was also very relaxing and convenient. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay in Playa del Carmen, combining comfort, great service, and an unbeatable beachfront location. Will be back in two weeks.
