La Casa Carlota exceeded my expectations on all levels. The staff were extremely kind, friendly and welcoming, even though I didn't speak any Spanish. The service they all provided from the cleanliness of my room, and shared areas, the homemade breakfast, the thoughtful turn-down service in the evenings were all exceptional. On top of all of that the location is ideal and in walking distance to amazing restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries, museums and all the main tourist attractions. The wifi is really good too :)

One Love Hostal Puerto Escondido ligger blot 150 m fra Zicatela-stranden og tilbyder en blanding af rustik og mexicansk indretning. Stedet er lille med kun få værelser, men med en masse charme. Everything was perfect. The hostal provided everything we needed to enjoy a great vacation. The bed and shower are very comfortable and the cleaning is exceptional. Nico the host is very nice and helpful, and he gave us great recommendations and connected us with good local service providers. The attention to detail is amazing. The hammocks in each room and the roof are super nice, and the pillows in the room were the exact same kind we use in our house to prevent neck pain!

Staff was gracious and helpful. Breakfast was great. I enjoyed the breakfast with other guests. The beds were comfortable. Nice closet to hang up clothing . Nice soap and towels.Good location with quick stroll to sites.

Casa de Siete Balcones Hotel Boutique ligger mellem Zócalo-pladsen og Santo Domingo de Guzman-kirken i Oaxacas historiske centrum. breakfast was provided: fruit, coffee, bread items. For extra cost we had a choice of scrambled eggs or tamales. All was very good The air-conditioning was very good (a necessity!) and it was easy to get refills for water, as the water supply requires us to get a filtered water for drinking. The desk always had a person there whenever we arrived back from our day and they helped us in numerous ways, advising and getting taxi service, etc. The courtyard was beautiful. There are only 7 rooms, so the service is very personal.

The rooms are spacious, with coffee makers and fridges and lovely big showers. Hot and cold water, great pressure. Every room has a small patio area with seats and a hammock too. The bathrooms are only swing doors so bear that in mind (but the patio and hammock makes it easy to give each other privacy). Would book again in a heartbeat, love this place
