We loved the breakfast! Their staff were really kind. While not overtly elaborate, the rooms are comfy and functional, well maintained and well equipped with all the essentials—the amenities added to a very pleasant stay. The location is a strong point: it is within walking distance from the main spots in the city centre, yet far enough away to remain quiet and peaceful. There are also several nice places for coffee or drinks in the surrounding areas.

Super good location. It is just one block away from downtown and 15 minutes walking from the famous Santo Domingo church and archeological museum and ex convent, on a beautiful pedestrian street. The hotel staff is super nice and helpful. The restaurant is also very good.

Amazing location, right on the beach and not many people around. Swam many times buts is wavy so not for everyone. The beach has a shallow protected pool on one side that’s accessible at the low tide, really lovely, filled with small fish ! We went every morning. Pool is clean and easy to enjoy ! There are umbrellas and loungers by the pool and by the beach! Wonderful meals, and drinks at the restaurant. Attentive staff and a lovely owner. Stunning view from the room, hammock and chairs to sit on the balcony and enjoy the sounds of the waves. We had real hard time leaving the place and intend to go back. So relaxing! So well run!

An amazing little oasis of calm! The staff were incredible (Ale is the most positive person in all of Mexico!). The garden and breakfast menu is perfect. The room is excellent. It’s away from the crazy side of Puerto (La Punta), and the perfect location to go for runs / walks in safe and quiet areas, with the beach and cafes / restaurants minutes away.

La Catrina de Alcala is centrally located 200 metres from the Zocalo Main Square and La Alameda Central Park.

You weren’t leaving breakfast hungry! Fresh fruit, fresh cakes and pastries, eggs, etc coffee tea. Our room was clean and there was no street noise so we had a restful sleep. The location was excellent, close to restaurants and shops. They had the road running in front of the hotel closed off so it became a mall. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Magical place with a lovely beach area, amazing food (you must try the Octopus) and great staff. Rosario and the duty manager (gentleman with dark hair) were absolutely wonderful
