The hotel was spectacular. We had the chance to view all the suites and they were all incredible. If you can splurge on the suite…do it! The art in the hotel is just incredibly creative and beautiful. All around in incredible!!

A pretty, modern, comfortable lodge in the middle of the forest. Lots of lovely huskies on the doorstep. A wonderful experience, certainly also for longer stays. Karasjok is only a few minutes away by car, so Engholm Lodge is well connected.

Fjord Hotel is a small family hotel in Alta — built on Norwegian "tillit" the same quiet trust that lets mountain cabins stand unmanned for hikers and honesty boxes sell strawberries at the roadside.
