It was such a lovely experience overall, but what we remember the most is a very good sleep ( not sure if those were the cushions or the matraces that did the magic) very friendly and helpful stuff and tasty breakfast. The location was very convenient, couple of minutes away from the beach, the funicular with a good variety of restaurants around, and 10 min walking from the bus station.

The entire experience was wonderful. I was there on low season, but it still felt wonderful. The room was huge, the sea view was wonderful, the staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was the best I have seen.

This 5-star hotel is situated in a historic palace. Quinta das Lágrimas offers 3 room types: Palace Rooms once accommodated the Duke of Wellington and Garden Rooms overlook the botanical garden. The stuff is very nice and attentive. The breakfast is very good. Great location to stay away from noisy streets and to relax listening to birds singing.

See võluv butiikhotell asub keskaegses Nossa Senhora da Esperança kloostris. Kohapeal on restoran, kus pakutakse traditsioonilisi toite Castelo Branco piirkonnast. See asub Esperança mägede nõlvadel. Breakfast was good, the location was superb. There was no elevator to the second floor which was a problem for one of us who had problems with the stairs. It would be good to make future guests aware that no elevator is available so first floor could be chosen as an option.

Beautiful 17th Century family run house located just outside the city walls. The decor was like walking into a museum with family heirlooms. Jaoa was very informative and provided a great homemade breakfast and very kindly drove us around the lagoon, seafront and dropped us off at the train station.
