We chose this hotel because of the views and location- which is exactly what we got! The peacefulness and views of Delfim Douro are absolutely fantastic. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We also had dinner at the restaurant and the food was great!

It was one of the best accomodations I will always remember! The hostel was surprisingly big and modern, definitely exceeded my expectations (looked more like a proper hotel) and tge staff was the kindest! Everything was perfectly clean, the decoration was really nice and our room had a beautiful view - we looked right at the tower of Torre de Moncorvo! The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was very fancy - it did not have a separate door but only a glass as an isolation from the bedroom. Even the toiletteries were high quality! We could have used one more or a bigger trashbin but other than that, everything was perfect! And there was the amazing staff! The receptionist was a young lady who didn't speak perfect English but helped us in every single way! The breakfast was delicious, she prepared us a chocolate cake, with her own recipe! We had a rich and tasty breakfast and when we asked whether we can pack in one or two croissants, she brought us 2 little plastic bags (for the croissants), 2 little juices and one apple per person. Only to prepare us for the road! She and her colleague who was also the cleaning lady were unbelivabely helpful and kind!

The staff is very attentive, friendly and professional. The breakfast is great and included a selection of local gastronomic delicatessen, amongst others, jams, bread and toasts with olive oil… It combines large family rooms, is pet friendly and in good location!

Our family lived on the new wings with interconnecting rooms, overlooking the vineyard. Since we went at winter the low season, travellers aren’t many, so the place was quiet and peaceful. Breakfast is great! Range of food selection is appropriate given the hotel size (about 40 rooms) and the quality is 5 star grade. The only place I can find a true type of croissant I used to eat but not those sticky one in the pastry shops. We had lunch at their pub serving light meals. Price is affordable at about 18 Euro per dish for pasta and meat sandwich respectively. Given the tranquility, the scenic maple tree under the winter sun, and the quality of food, I personally feel worth it. Dinner we ordered room service at about 30 Euro per dish as we wanted to rest at the cozy and comfortable rooms. Rooms are 5 star grade in terms of comfort level, though size isn’t big. Laying in the bed looking out to the green vineyard and hills, plus their complementary sweet Pacheca port wine is another unique and memorable experience. Staff are friendly and helpful too. Even there aren’t many guests, the hotel still put effort to decorate it for Christmas everywhere indoor and outdoor tastefully. Really appreciate!
