Octant Douro located in Vista Alegre, Castelo de Paiva. Offering a stunning infinity pool the hotel overlooks the Douro River blending itself with the surrounding nature. The view from our room was amazing. The staff were amicable and professional. We took the boat tour on the Douro, which was relaxing and scenic. We would definitely go back again to the Octant Douro.

Nestled along the Douro River, Douro Hotel Porto Antigo. is housed in a historic building. It features an outdoor swimming pool, in-house massages and a restaurant serving European dishes. The location of this hotel is spectacular, right between the historical River Douro and River Bestança, close to the incredible N-222 road. Had an amazing view from my room during my stay. As it was off season, the hotel was pretty empty, which was not a problem as I was able to get great breakfast and dinner in the property. There's free parking right next to the hotel. There are many small towns nearby to get supplies if needed and great opportunities for hiking and exploring.

Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. The building, the village, the staff, the food, the bedroom…. all exceptional.

I cannot speak highly enough about this accommodation. Cristiano and staff are very friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Housekeeping is excellent with expert attention to detail that includes flowers, fruit, port, pool basket and hat. The presentation and preparation of breakfast is to be commended. It was great to come back to the Quinta after a day of touring to a beautiful pool with an incredible view, comfortable and well appointed suite, also with a beautiful view, and a delicious four course meal. Everything is thoughtfully considered right down to the beautiful table wear, decor and the homemade cake and snacks available during the day. Our four night stay in early September this year was the perfect choice for our time in the Douro. Hands down 10/10.

Lovely property overlooking the Duoro river. Breakfast was the best we have had in all of the places we have stayed this trip, fresh juices, selection of cheeses and meats and great bread and cereal options. We loved the house, the games, the complimentary port but especially the cats!

Offering a restaurant, Quinta de Marrocos is located in Peso da Régua. Free WiFi access is available in this farm stay. The accommodation will provide you with air conditioning and a balcony. Charming vineyard with beautiful scenery by Douro-river. Very attentive and friendly staff and two amazing dogs. Be sure to include port tasting - it was fantastic to walk the wine fields, see the winery and hear about the production. We will definitely be back sometime!

Everything was perfect. From the warm welcome to the beautiful view! We stayed in one of the bungalows. There is a big wow factor when you enter the apartment: big bay windows with the most magical view. And the bungalow is quite spacious, super clean, comfortable, quiet, decorated with taste! Margarida and Luís were also amazing, with great recos and attention. The wine tasting was also a fun experience. Luís' passion for wine is contagious.

Quinta do Tedo is an award-winning agrotourism that provides accommodation with breakfast included. Great location, amazing view, Kajaks without additional fee, good port wines, super clean, comfortable bed and the staff was very friendly
