Este lujoso hotel ocupa un antiguo monasterio cisterciense del siglo XII situado entre la ciudad de Braga y las montañas de Gerês. Cuenta con piscina al aire libre y pista de tenis. Impresionante monasterio antiguo. Reciclado todo nuevo, pero manteniendo su estructura histórica. Es un alojamiento realmente impresionante y especial. Apto para todas las edades. Habitaciones muy cómodas. La comida increíble. El desayuno es buffet muy completo. La cena reservamos, y fue espectacular. La cobran aparte. Jardín enorme lleno de plantas, parras y frutales, que parecen ser de la época de los monjes. Piscina enorme y lindisima. Estanque con peces. Y muchos rincones para explorar. Gran experiencia!!!!!

Trovador Guest House is located in the historic center of Guimarães and offers comfortable suites just 1 km from the iconic Guimarães Castle. Wi-Fi is free in all areas. We only had time to stay in Guimaraes for two nights but we packed a lot of walking and sight seeing into the time we had. The Trovador Guest house operates from a small group of houses in the older part of town near what was the leather tanning area of the city. There are lots of interesting buildings around the area bars, cafes and eateries within easy walking distance. Our room was spotlessly clean and it was evident that the building had recently been restored - very tastefully decorated and furnished. The staff were very helpful and pleasant and they went out of their way to help us find things that we were looking for. A great breakfast was also provided with lots of pasteries, and fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, juices etc.
