The Hotel da Oliveira is within the historical Guimarães city centre, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Guimarães Castle, the city’s most iconic landmark is 150 metres away. Excellent location, very comfortable and super clean rooms, breakfast is also very delicious with a good variety, staff very helpful and friendly

Situated in a 12th century Augustin Convent, the Pousada Mosteiro de Guimaraes overlooks Guimarães. Rooms are equipped with modern amenities including air conditioning and cable TV. This is an amazing hotel, adapted from what used to be a monastery. You feel the comfort, the history, and the super attentive staff is exceptionally friendly without being intrusive. The bar and restaurant live up to the northern Portugal traditions.

Located in Braga, Tea 4 Nine Guest House lunch is served in the apartments. This self-catering accommodation features free WiFi. The location was excellent and the breakfast left in the fridge for 2 days was enough to fed 3 at least and was delicious and varied. It was luxurious with touches not experienced in Portugal before such as thick robes. It is central, and quiet . The only thing is the glass door into the bathroom is a hazard as we kept on not seeing it.😕

Located within Guimarães city wall, in a manor house from the 18th century, Casa do Juncal combines history with modern comfort and elegance. The Casa do Juncal is a real gem. Perfect location to explore Guimarães, so close to absolutely everything in the old town. The hotel was charming as was our room, bed was fantastic as was the sitting room and bathroom. The staff were exceptionally lovely, very helpful and went out of their way to help, as was Ana who manages the bookings and everything else. Our breakfasts in the breakfast room were more than we could eat, and the garden was great even in the rain.
