Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. Amazing setting. Very relaxing. Had a great massage in the spa too.

It felt you were in the nature yet close to hiking trails and Spar etc. The hot fireplace in the living room came in handy as the cold wind was blowing through the pine trees.

Beautiful and peaceful spot on the river, as well as conveniently located close to shops and other amenities. Loved our room, which included a loft area for our children. Cooling off in the stunning pool was fantastic, after the hot December days. Absolutely delicious breakfast - the fruit salad was so fresh and vibrant! And the hosts are delightful people - friendly and helpful.
