"Everything about the property was 10/10. Amalya was helpful in explaining how to find the place, and as soon as I got there I could tell she is the kind of hostess who dedicates herself to making sure her guests are happy. The property itself was very comfortable: everything recently renovated, separate rooms for the toilet and shower, and even a separate area for the sink. The water was always hot. The kitchen had lots of room and everything needed for cooking, etc. Amalya and her family live upstairs, so everything is separate and there is complete privacy. The breakfast was very enjoyable and a good value, but there are stores a couple minutes' walk away for guests who want to buy and prepare their own food. From the property it's easy to reach the bus stop with an hourly marshutka to Stepanavan and Vanadzor, or in the other direction to Alaverdi. It's also easy to reach the Debed Canyon trails, and Amalya's family is knowledgeable about them and where they lead. My last night there I was stranded on a trail and had to call emergency services, but it was Amalya's husband and boys who were the ones that ended up finding me and rescuing me. Bottom line: a perfect experience in just about every way possible."

"The owner of the home stay was very friendly and gave us a warm and welcomed stay. She cared for us and we had everything we needed and even more :-) She also helped us out to find a Taxi to get to our starting point for the hiking trip. We had nice conversations with her. The food was very good and it was nice to have breakfast in the morning at the terrace."
