If there is a better place to stay in Quito, I don't want to know. Arupo is perfect. A beautiful and super comfortable space, in a very busy neighborhood with lots of options, but with the hostal located on a much quieter street. The highlight, however, is the incredible staff: friendly, smiling, efficient. It will always be my choice when I return to Quito.

It is a wonderful small boutique hotel. The area is totally safe and walking around also in the evening was fine.
In my room it was completely quiet and in the night there was no sound. Best place to relax in the big city.
Many restaurants around and as well bus stops very near.

Very nice rooms, spotless clean.
We had the Deluxe Queen, with a great view of the mountains. Good varied breakfast, very nice hotel personnel, talkative and helpful.
The area is safe and very very well lit, most streets surrounding the hotel, so we had no issues going to eat late at night or get some snacks or pharmacy. Stores and restaurants in walking distance.
Beds were very comfortable and the room was big.

The staff were amazing. I had quite bqd altitude sickness. 2 receptionists were particularly helpful Maria Jose and Yessenni. The manager as well Manuel was very caring I felt in very safe hands. Room was very comfortable and bed too.

The staff were extremely attentive from the moment that we arrived. There is a 24 front desk person. Security with a keypad outside. They would see us coming and open the door for us. There is plenty of hot water and great towels. The mattresses extremely comfortable. In addition, it is handicap friendly with ramps and railings and something on the cement so that you don’t slip and fall!!! Free bottled water in the room and free water available in the common area. There are elevators which are a must. The free breakfast includes eggs cooked your way in addition to fruit, granola and yogurt, toast. As well as a couple of other hot dishes. The coffee was delicious and tea was available too. All in all I rate our stay five stars. We live in Ecuador so will be back to stay again. Thank you for your fantastic customer service and your awesome staff!
