We Loved staying here. The villa is around three hundred meters from the road. There is a path that wonders down to the villa. Along the way there are restaurants, massage places, small wurangs, Motor bike hire places. It was magical for me. On arrival, with a phone call the host came and picked us up on Motor bikes and took us to the accommodation. There were welcoming drinks on arrival and an introduction to the information book. The staff were friendly an always contactable. We hired a bike to get around, but sometimes we choose to walk the path as it was very pleasant. If you have mobility issues then this may not be the place for you although you can always get a Gojek pick up. Loved the pool as it was very private. Would come back in a heart beat. Excellent service and friendly staff. The villa we stayed in was beautiful with a clean and heated private pool. This villa not only allowed privacy but also had a beautiful garden outside. The location is near to rice fields in one direction and local shops in another, where there is access for taxis. There is a mix of great Indonesian style and Western style foods available nearby. I would recommend Villa D'Uma to anybody who wants to explore Ubud.

The property’s location is excellent. It’s very close to many great restaurants, which serve the healthiest food. In addition, the property seems like a sanctuary, quiet, very clean, and the staff are amazing. Moreover, Made, his wife and family live there. They were instrumental in me having a very happy, peaceful and healing time during the time I spent with them. The swimming pool is so inviting and the property with its temple, greenery, and the way it’s constructed, all call out one’s soul to feel uplifted and serene. I have made friends with every one who is there. And, I will be staying there many times in future trips to Ubud.
