The receptionist made an effort and waited an extra hour for our check-in. The location is excellent, close to the train station but also in the center.

Hotel Patavium has a wonderful breakfast selection and a lovely space for breakfast that looks out over a small area of lawn/garden. You can eat inside or on a patio area. The location is fantastic, located about halfway between the train station and the town center - it's about a 20-minute walk to either of those. There is a little market a couple of doors down, a grocery store around the corner, and a laundrette on the same street - as well as many small restaurants and cafes nearby. I've stayed here before and liked it so much that I came back. The second time I decided on a slightly bigger room, and that made a lot of difference - on my previous trip, the room I was in (their smallest, least expensive one) didn't really have the desk space I needed, but I found the junior suite to be very spacious. And the jacuzzi tub was wonderful at the end of a long day of walking. The staff is very friendly and helpful - consistently true on both of my visits here.

The studio is very clean and within walking distance from the city center. The bathroom is surprisingly big and the kitchen seems very modern. The apartment is quiet and we really enjoyed our stay there.

We were allowed to check in early and greeted by the owner at the door. We loved the spacious, super clean and bright, beautifully decorated space. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioner worked well. The location was close to the park and botanical gardens. It also had easy access to grocery and great restaurants.
