Our two-night stay at Nakamatsuya (16–18 February 2026) was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the Omotenashi hospitality was evident in every detail — the check-in was seamless, and the friendly driver provided first-class service that immediately set the tone for the rest of our stay.
The Kaiseki dinner and breakfast were outstanding. Every dish was a beautifully presented celebration of traditional, authentic Japanese cuisine. Weeks later, back home and deep in my post-Japan-trip hangover, I still find myself thinking about those meals over my morning breakfast.
Our newly renovated room was incredibly comfortable, and the rooftop sauna and bath overlooking Bessho-onsen were the perfect way to unwind. The facilities throughout are excellent.
I wholeheartedly recommend Nakamatsuya to any traveller seeking an authentic ryokan experience. A previous guest wrote that this is the best ryokan in Japan — having stayed here, I couldn't agree more.
2026年2月16日〜18日の2泊、中松屋さんでの滞在は本当に忘れられない体験でした。到着した瞬間から、おもてなしの心が隅々まで行き届いていることを感じました。チェックインはとてもスムーズで、送迎ドライバーの方の対応も一流で、滞在全体の素晴らしい幕開けとなりました。
懐石料理の夕食と朝食は絶品でした。どの料理も伝統的で本格的な日本料理の美しさと美味しさに溢れていました。帰国して数週間経った今でも、毎朝の朝食の時にあの味を思い出してしまいます。
リニューアルされたお部屋はとても快適で、別所温泉を見渡せる屋上のサウナと露天風呂は最高のひとときでした。
本格的な旅館体験を求めているすべての旅行者に、中松屋さんを心からおすすめします。ある宿泊客の方が「日本一の旅館」と書かれていましたが、まさにその通りだと実感しました。
