Enjoyed my stay.

For this price, I think the establishment quite meets the expectation. The staff are friendly and everything is great. Make sure though to organise your lunch and dinner since this is not available in the hotel. However, there are restaurants nearby that you can take your meal and they are also well priced. Their breakfast is superb. Loved it so much. It is a great place. PS: Generally in Maputo, you have to buckle up during rainy season as most places get flooded. This applies to the area surrounding the hotel. Since it is placed on a slope, flowing water from runoff passes through the road and the side walk. This is not a hotel issue but a general observation of the surrounding area and environment. Thank you.

Easy to locate the place and it was clean. The staff were very friendly And the Receptionist speak fluent English I forgot his name but it was a guy. Staff is very helpful The hotel is in the cbd but it was very quiet as I was worried about the noise

With an outdoor pool and a garden, GuestHouse 1109 is located in the centre of Maputo, 20 minutes’ walk from the beach. It offers on suite accommodation and free WiFi throughout. Great communication. Excellent honest bar with views. Owner gave us some much information to help us plan our trip and how to navigate Mozambique. He arranged our pick up and transport to our next location. He recommended a restaurant that was excellent. We are coming back here on our return through Maputo.

Location was good and the staff too. Rooms were comfortable, and they let me check in early, which was very much appreciated!
