The owner, Geir may appear a little brusque in written communication, however that doesn't reflect the reality of the charming man that you will meet when you arrive.
The apartment itself is perfectly located. Internally it has lots of space and is somewhat eccentric in a good way. Interesting art work on the walls and personal touches everywhere.
Don't bother to bring shower gels or shampoo, there is enough in the bathroom already for a 12 month stay. The fridge (and freezer) were packed with food and drinks when we arrived. A little less so when we left.

Nice hotel in stately building with several lounge spaces on the ground floor. There is a restaurant and both houses are connected by glass corridor. Our wish was fulfilled and we were given room in the historical part of the hotel which has many nice features. Afternoon tea, dinner and breakfast were all included which was quite useful given prices to have a meal somewhere outside. Afternoon cake was not abundant, however everyone present got a bite or two. Dinner had only one choice of (mediocre) hot meat dish, but more choice of tasty salad and side dishes, therefore even vegetarian in our company left satisfied. The soup was perfect! Great variety of tasty options for the breakfast. The hotel is children and animal friendly. Public transport nearby.
