Absolutely loved the complete breakast. SO MANY CHOICES!!! And the latte/cappucino machine was spot on. We could refill our empty reusable water bottles before heading off for the day. Right next door to the metro and a hop skip jump to Gamla Stan.

I loved my stay at Stadshotell. It's a beautiful building with elegant decor and wonderful staff - the ladies at reception were so fab, Annika in particular, I chatted lots to. The restaurant is gorgeous and buzzing on an evening - great food and cocktails. I also loved the private sauna and plunge pool, which I made full use of a couple of times. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent. Front desk was very helpful. The history of the hotel and the prison motif gives the hotel some character. Långholmen is nice and quiet compared to the inner city and quite picturesque in Spring.

The location of the hotel is perfect, right next to Katharinahissen on Södermalm in a very short walking distance to Gamla Stan. I was hesitant about the no windows thing, but that was absolutely unnecessary - slept better than anywhere else ☺️. The room was super clean and the people that work there are super sweet, even taking the time to explain and show me one of their wheelchair-friendly rooms (an absolute dream for people with special needs, would totally recommend to anyone visiting Stockholm in a wheelchair) for the next trip with family. Check-in and out are fast and easy, they even have a secured luggage room free of charge for their guests after checkout, which is great given the prices and availabilities of luggage storage around town. The subway station Slussen which connects to Centralstation and all airport busses and trains is right across the street and the prices are absolutely moderate for Stockholm. Thank you so much for a great stay, the next one is already booked 😊
