This sleek design hotel is just 100 metres from the Arlanda Airport Express Train at Stockholm Central Station. It offers modern rooms with free WiFi and tea/coffee facilities.

This is our 4th stay at this hotel. We keep choosing it for several reasons: closeness to Arlanda Express (specially if your flight is an early morning one). Also, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. This is the second time we leave before 6:30 am, and the second time they have a packed breakfast for us, which we happily enjoy during our ride to the airport. Future trips, I will stay here again.

FAQs about hotels in Stockholm

A Natural Beauty

Modern Stockholm is uniquely made up of 30% waterways and another 30% of parks and green spaces. It’s spread across 14 islands and is both one of the world’s cleanest and most charming capitals.

Stockholm’s famously huge number of museums includes the Naturhistoriska riksmuseet, the Moderna Museet and the Spritmuseum. City Hall hosts the famous Nobel Prize banquet and the Vasamuseet hosts the 300 year old Vasa warship.

The city’s past can be felt in Gamla Stan – Stockholm’s stunning Old Town with medieval layout, cobblestone streets and the Baroque-style Royal Palace. Designer Swedish clothes and interior decorations abound in the many unique stores throughout the city.

Stockholm has a lot of interesting museums but entrance fees...

Stockholm has a lot of interesting museums but entrance fees are high. You can visit the parliament for free but places are limited. Also the Moderna Museum is free between 6-8pm on a Friday evening and well worth a visit at that time. Food and drink is very expensive compared to many other European countries but the public transport in the city is incredibly efficient and worthwhile using. The seasons can greatly affect a visit as Stockholm in the winter will be totally different to Stockholm in the summer. Just come prepared for the weather and seek out suitable activities for that time of the year.

Stockholm is such a great city, we highly recommend it.

Stockholm is such a great city, we highly recommend it. We loved walking through the city. It's a very walkable city. You don't really need to take public transport, but of you do, it's very easy to use. We loved eating the cinnamon buns and saffron croissants, deer stew and swedish meatballs. We went for dinner at restaurant Knut, Prinsen (the oldest restaurant of Stockholm) and restaurant Tradition in Gamla Stan (old town) - make sure you make reservations. Swedish people are very kind and they are always wiling to help you with anything. We had a lovely stay and we will certainly be coming back!

    The trip exceeded our expectations.

The trip exceeded our expectations. The city is great, very clean and well maintained. Many attractions and views. A 4-day trip can cover most of the attractions but you should add an extra 1-2 days to visit more of what the city can offer ( boat trips, museums). The Ship Hotels are a great choice to stay offering a unique experience. We visited in November when is less crowded, but you should consider that the temperatures are a bit lower than summer and also sunset is around 15 00 - 16 00. Still Stockholm by night is amazing.

Stockholm is a diverse city in terms of it's preserved...

Stockholm is a diverse city in terms of it's preserved heritage in Gamla Stan and the modern design in areas such as Vasastan. There are many museums ranging from photography to history/culture, as well as being the home of the Nobel Prize to which there is a museum dedicated to that as well. Getting to the city from the airport is a breeze with the train, then getting around the city on their metro system was efficient and safe. One of our favorite activities was winter kayaking out of Vaxholm, as well as a day trip to Skansen to learn about the heritage and history of the Swedes. We went during the American Thanksgiving week and enjoyed the Christmas markets in both Gamla Stan and Skansen as the goods being sold were handmade and represented artisans from different regions of the country.

We loved exploring Gamla stan and Djurgården.

We loved exploring Gamla stan and Djurgården. The Vasa Museum and Skansen open-air museum were excellent and must-visits. There were many excellent bars and 'pubs' dotted about Södermalm, Gamla stan and Vasastan. We enjoyed the touristy shopping along Västerlånggatan and Stora Nygatan, with more cultural boutiques along Österlånggatan, all in Gamla stan. Busier shopping along Drottninggatan. Pretty cafes in Stortorget. Many boat cruises available to tour the archipelago. The metro was so easy to use. Many of the stations have some quite elaborate are installations so re worth checking out! Almost everywhere are card-only but some restaurants etc. take cash too. Food and drink, particularly wine, is very expensive when eating out. Cheaper to buy hotdogs in a Pressbyrån. To purchase alcohol for home consumption you must shop in a Systembolaget before 7pm or earlier but they are great shops.

We spent 2 nights at the hotel and it has all recommendations from our side. The receptionist staff will give you all instructions if you arrive out of the working hours. We had a clear and accurate instruction for entering the hotel. The food was delicious with a wide range of products. We really enjoyed it! The location is very close to the old city and you can reach it in less than 10 minutes. The staff is kind and always at your disposal. I will choose again this hotel if I come to Stockholm. Clean and spacious room. Dinner was included - it was a great deal. Both breakfast and dinner came with a wide variety of food to choose. Dining/open common area on the ground floor was so spacious and comfortable. It was not so far from the hotel to the city center - about 10-15 mins to Slussen from the hotel by bus and then just one stop to Gamla Stan by metro. This was my second stay within 10 months. One of staff (probably a manager) still remembered me.

The hotel is smack infront of the central station with underground access, therefore decision cannot be wrong. Being centrally located, everything seems to be within walking distance. eg Gamla Stan is just 5 mins down the road and be seen majestically from the hotel sundeck. Breakfast spread appear to be many but none are really appetizing. The best part of the hotel is the sundeck. It has very nice view of the City Hall and Gamla stan during sunset

The hotel location is excellent (20 minute walk to Gamla Stan and the city center). It is located on the main shopping street, which is a bonus if you plan to do a lot of shopping, and a con if you hate crowds. Despite being on a busy street, it was rather quiet at night, once everything closes. Many thanks to the staff for giving me a street-facing room when asking for it from the start. Breakfast is great, lots of options to choose from.

Beautiful hotel with excellent breakfast. Perfect for those who enjoy museums and fresh air. Friendly staff. Excellent transportation with busses, trams and the very scenic commuter boats. There are nice restaurants around but not as many as in the absolute city centre. Within a ~ 5 minute walk there are 7 of Stockholm's best museums. Wasa ship, Viking, Wreck, Liljevalchs art, Skansen and ABBA museum.

This boat hotel offers a nice alternative for stays at the heart of Stockholm. From there you can walk through the city center, or take a metro at the subway station located 5 minutes away. Inside, you really feel like taking part to a nordic exploration of a century ago. You only occasionally feel the boat gently heaving. Breakfast is good.

I found the breakfast really good and the bar had more of a vibe than I expected. The personnel also did their best. I also like their is a tram stop (line 7) almost in front of the hotel, a convenient way to get into town or to the central station. And I had a good deal for a Stockholm hotel, so good value for money.
