I ended up having cold/flu during my stay and was largely bed bound. The staff were very accommodating of this and kind. There were plenty of pharmacies and corner shops around the area. The staff were also happy for me to try speaking in my broken Swedish but happy for me to swap back if I wasn’t able to say what I needed to.
The rooms and public areas were really well kept and had a lot of attention to detail. I didn’t get to use the terrace bar but it looked lovely. This will likely be my go to hotel for future Stockholm trips.

The subway is so cool! Sadly, it took three days before I truly knocked it out (that's an age thing!). Once I had a handle on it, wow - such a breeze (and fun) getting around.
Stockholm is a great city with lots and lots to do. Smart would be to NOT underestimate the good fortune of landing in Stockholm but to ensure you have a good few days (3-4 minimum) to check it out.
PS. the city card is worth well if you use it.
PPS: For booking.com on the next question (4) add "The People". There is a marked difference between the people of each of the cities I've visited. The people make the city before all the other criteria. Jussayin!

Lovely place with happy people.
Lovely place with happy people. Plenty to do, walking, eating, museums, fun fairs, Viking islands, archipelago cruises, I could go on. Easy to visit other cities by public transport something for everyone. It certainly kept us busy!

Well, a beautiful city with a lot of sights and usually high quality of services. Apart from the mandatory sights (Gamla Stan, Stadhuset, Skansen, etc.) I would recommend a stroll in Södermalm and the neighbourhood of St. Eriksplan.
The public transport company (SL) provides good service in general, but they should definitely improve their mobile app: trip planner is not integrated with the city map and you must remember exact station names. Also, they do not propose alternative routes and warnings about service disruptions are available in Swedish only.

Great place for families.
Great place for families. The vasa museum is wonderful, even for kids who usually don't enjoy museums. The amusement park (Gröna Lund) offers day tickets. Great value for money. Also: Take a ferry to Vaxholm or one of the islands. You can take a regular ferry (SL lines), they are cheap and they are just as comfortable as the tour boats. You can go to the little island of Fjärholmanda (30 minutes) and take a swim. We also liked the Abba museum a lot. Meatballs for the people is a great restaurant. We also rented a kayak, nice experience as well.

Stockholm seems very clean and always cold, even in July!
Stockholm seems very clean and always cold, even in July! Tap water is drinkable, good museums to visit. The abundance of construction sites feels overwhelming at times. Great public transportation. Expensive city though - and if you smoke, you may want to be careful where you smoke and may want to give Snus a shot instead :)

People are really nice.
People are really nice. Lots of history, meticulously preserved and presented in museums and outside. There is sense of calm and peace in general. Increasingly environment conscious society. Cash is not king in Stockholm, transactions are essentially cashless!
The location is perfect, near metro and bus stops by foot. I can easly say that is probably the second best hotel where i've ever been and i travelled a lot. Minimalist and modern design, the room very clean e bib whit a very comfortable bed. The express buffet breakfast is stunning, the gym and welleness fscilities very beautiful. Given that i liked a lot stockholm, I will come back for sure at blique by nobis.
I have to do a big mentions for the staff that is friendly and super available for any kind of problem!
The hotel was value for money! We loved everything! There was cleaning every day, the beds were very comfortable, the room was spacious and warm. Breakfast was rich. Breakfast serving area was very large and comfortable and even at peak hours you could find a seat. Staff was very kind. The hotel services exceeded our expectations! Of course, if we visit Stockholm again, we will stay at this particular hotel!Thank you Best Western Plus Time Hotel for the best experience!
Everything was great. The hotel is expensive but it is just amazing... The room looked like in a museum, the food was delicious and the Spa Area (book in advance!) was very relaxing and warm. The staff did a great job too, everyone was very helpful. The place in which the hotel is located is probably one of the best in Stockholm - close to everywhere, the metro station is maybe 100 meters away, beautiful area to just walk around. I can fully recommend!
This is hands down the best hotel I’ve stayed at in Stockholm. Wonderful staff, great (safe and mostly quiet) location, tasty breakfast, close to everything, good value for money, lovely room, and comfy bed. Highly recommended!
