Stayed here for the second time, hope to come back. At Six is a new hotel (opened in spring 2017) and everything in it is simply beautiful, comfortable, cozy and touchy :-) I love the materials of decor inside and outside the room: leather elevator handrails, wooden details everywhere, dishes in bar with "X" (At Six branded) sign etc. There are a lot of nice things that make you feel special). Beds are the best! :-) Also, location is perfect from everywhere you desire to go. Thank you At Six!

Situated in Stockholm’s picturesque Old Town, Collector's Victory Hotel is 2 minutes’ walk from Gamla Stan Metro Station. Its uniquely decorated rooms have a flat-screen TV and heated bathroom floors.... The bed was extra comfy. Breakfast was excellent. Roof top bar excellent atmosphere.
Stockholm is summer is great, the Djurgarden area and archipelago are very beautiful. Some areas don't live up to the Night City tag though, but the Sodermalm area has late bars and much better value eating. Just be aware your credit card will take a hit, and choose your Hotel carefully...its hugely expensive and many are poor value for money, with average hostels charging upwards of £50 single and window free basement rooms galore.
Stockholm is a beautiful city but very very expensive!! Alcohol was the most expensive thing there and hotels love to charge ridiculous fees for it etc. If you are staying in a hotel remember to charge drinks to your room as they will give you a small percentage off. The Arlanda Express is an amazing way to get from the airport to the city centre. The Vasa museum is an excellent day out (half day) The restaurant Waipo was the best meal we had during our seven days
Vasa Museum as well as the ABBA museum were two good contrasts. The trip to Birka helped to dismiss the 'Hollywood' Viking myths and Andreas our guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and made it fun. The 72 hour travel pass is useful as you can use it on the buses, trams, Tunnelbana Metro, trains within parts of Stockholm and the ferries (although, if I remember correctly, you could only use that on the 'green' hop-on hop-off sightseeing buses and ferries. For the 'red' versions I think you needed the Stockholm Pass, which I thought was good value for getting round the museums and on the ferries for particular sightseeing trips). It was easy to get around with both these and we even managed to walk into the City Centre one day from our hotel via a stop at the very pleasant Malarpaviljongen at NorrMalastrand 64). The Villa Rodan was another wonderful dining experience on the Fjarderholmarna island excursion; the island even had its own brewery - the stout being very tasty). In fact we didn't have a duff meal experience all trip. We had one of the best Italian meals near out hotel (City Connect on the Kungsholmen area) which I think was called Il Forno du Cucin - very friendly staff. Gamla Stan (the old town) was very good for ambling around and enjoying the good restaurants and the gift shops full of the usual tat. Close by to Gamla Stan Tunnelbana Metro station were the 2 gay bar/restaurants - The Secret Garden and Malatorget, which seemed very popular during our stay. Obviously with Eurovision in town they were packed to the gills and so we didn't get chance to pop in. Overall a fabulous place to stay with lots to do and see.
It is a very nice city. But as for its people, I can not say the same thing. Read my review for my Copenhagen trip to compare the people of Sweden to the people of Denmark. It will shed more light. Across the hotel is a perfect hub to stop by and eat a nice steak. I recommend this place. Bofus Jensen. You can try it. Have a nice drink on the roof of Radisson Hotel which is called Skybar.
Hardly 3 days for sightseeing, with commuting to Nyköping, far too short! Nordic C location next to Arlanda Express is just perfect. We had a fairly big room, deco minimalistic, but good bedding. Efficiently run, pleasant reception area, good bar (music) and nice food. We ate there twice. GREAT breakfast, lots of choices. We managed to visit the Palace (armour and guest apartments), visit an excellent tea salon, took the boat to the VASA museum (not to be missed) and another day to the Nordiska museum, also a must do. Walked most places, town not too big. Tram runs, a good metro net, although we did not have the opportunity. Next time I would like to do the underground tour or take busline 2 which takes you all over the town. Winter is not the best season and we had pretty bad weather. Still enjoyed every minute, not least the visit to the Ice Bar (inside the Nordic C Hotel) and also the Sky Bar of the Radisson Blue where we stayed one night. Recommended restaurant Cloud Nine was unfortunately closed in the afternoon. Much more to be explored, but in the summer time !
waching new years eve fireworks from the privacy of our hotel room. Stockholm is a wonderful city with good fod and nice people. However they have been an increase in the number of immigrant beggers in the city centre which is sad to see, it was not like this a few years ago.

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, the location is right in the city centre, the stuff is super friendly and helpful. We had a reservation via booking, and we got this really small room, so we asked at the reception if they can get us a bigger one, so we got a Superior room, and it was definitely worth paying an upgrade fee. We loved the breakfast, especially making waffles by ourselves, it was a great fun. I will surely come back to this hotel, when visiting Stockholm next time.

Unbeatable value for money in Stockholm. Everything in this hostel is impressive. Their organization, the very well thought design of rooms, how many guests they handle at once (very efficiently)... I could go on forever, really. They offer an immense variety of food for all meals at reasonable (Scandinavian) prices. I’ve stayed in other hostes in town and this is definitely the best. Book it, you can’t go wrong.

The hotel feels like a home, the room smelled like cleaned freshly ironed sheets. The bathroom is very clean and the owner and staff extremely nice. The best part is that you can have free coffee and drink it in front of the hotel on a little terrace right next to the Nobel Museum in the most famous square in Stockholm where a coffee at the terrace is around 10 euro. Fantastic hotel! Loved it!

Comfortable beds. Breakfast is good. Service is really good they work hard to pleasure the guests. Metro station is nearby to Stockholm city center. You can buy a 24 or 72 hour pass in hotel for transportation (bus/metro/ferry) it was really good to have that opportunity. I would recommend this hotel. Nice place to stay.

Excellent hotel, very good location as it is in the walking distance to the most of sights and the central station (10 mins), though it was hard to find that specific Scandic hotel as there are so many of them in the city. One of the best breakfasts I've had. Very clean and good value for money. I would definitely come back.
