Set in the trendy Vesterbro district, this boutique hotel is just 200 metres from Copenhagen Central Station. It offers modern, design rooms with LED TVs and free Wi-Fi. The hotel was easy to find and there was time to park outside, drop luggage, check in and get details of the (paid) parking garage a short walk away. Staff were supremely friendly and helpful, and booked a restaurant for us (The Italian, 10 minutes walk away - highly recommended). We arrived just in time for Wine Hour, when gave us a chance to meet other guests. Our room was lovely, with air conditioning, comfortable bed and good size bathroom. However I found myself to be just the right height to catch my head on a glass shelf above the fridge. Breakfast selection was very good indeed. Our first morning was a Sunday so it was very busy. The city centre is just a few minutes walk from the hotel, but not close to any busy roads, so quite peaceful at night - especially with the AC allowing the windows to be closed.

Accomodations in Copenhagen are EXPENSIVE unless you vie for a shared hostel room. Whether you choose to hang out at a coffee shop by the water, explore the many bars for a bite and a drink, or explore the Kronberg Castle and slink through Alternative Copenhagen's Freetown Christinia, it is place worth discovering. I recommend saving up big time, so you don't break the bank trying to book and pay for a hotel. AND TRY THE SMORREBROD! You will not be disappointed.
It's a pity that the hotels choice and quality is rather poor in Copenaghen while prices are high compared to many other European cities. No matter if you go for 3-4-5 stars accommodation and hospitality lack of quality but despite your sleep the city has lots to offer especially after turning famous for its culinary trends and of course for its unmistakable danish design.
Vey clean city..the recycling of bottles etc seems to work well. Was there for Hibernian V Brondby football match and Police took a very good hands off approach. Transport system is good and free buses to some attractions were a help. Plenty to do there and something for everyone. Bit expensive for some things but not as bad as I thought it might be. Stayed in Cabin Metro which was one of the cheaper hotels but close to a metro line and clean. Rooms obviously fairly small but wifi and a kettle in room, close to a local supermarket and shopping centre. People seemed friendly. Visited the Carlsberg brewery, zoo, botanical gardens and other parks and round tower. Intended to go to national football stadium (Copenhagen fc) but free bus did not run the day I tried, possibly because there was a scheduled Beyoncé concert. Very flat roads somaybe done too much walking, certainly great for using a bike as bike lanes are hug compared to UK
Visiting all the "Royal" attractions was interesting, giving a good insight into history. I walked everywhere in town, but its easy enough to higher a bike and go for it. The town has plenty to offer, but be mindful that a few things are closed in winter. When booking accomodation, avoid staying near central station, its convientent, but not a very "nice" place to stay. Nyhavn is much nicer, and still close to plenty of great things to see.
Great city for walking around, all the main sights are in easy walking distance, loved the Tivoli at night. Great for shoppers, wasn't as expensive as I had imagined based on traveling in Norway or Iceland... Had a good burger in Cocks & Cows which was in our hotel. Good coffee and pastry in a local chain called Ricco's. Our hotel - Hotel SP34 was very good. The airport is really easy to get to and from. Taxi or public transport are easy to access at the airport so all budgets are covered.

Great value for money (hotels in Copenhagen are pretty expensive); very good location, 3-4 minutes walk from the central station, within walking distance to city centre, nice bars and restaurants, etc. The rooms are designed very nicely with the glass toilet/shower partition in the middle and beds fitted nicely in a corner. Very slick and clean and well-equipped. Overall, a very good experience and unbeatable value especially for Copenhagen.

Such comfy vibes! Very welcoming and a very small, but inviting, space. Everyone was very helpful. The bunks are cozy and I never felt disturbed. They also offer bike rentals for a reasonable price and I HIGHLY recommend. It was the best way to see Copenhagen, and their bikes were good quality. Very close to the central train station and easy to find. Close to plenty yummy food, and a great bar directly across the street.

The view on the 20th floor is AMAZING! The room was super clean. Easy access to the city by metro. There is also an airport shuttle for a very cheap price. The staff was so helpful! After a long intense day of visiting Copenhagen I fainted at the snack bar, and they offered a coke to boost my sugar back up. One of the best hotels I ever stayed in!

Excellent location, 5 minutes walking from Metro (15minutes to the center) and trains (6minutes from airport, 35 from Malmo). Breakfast included, essential but clean room. It's my second time at Ascot Hotel and I think it's the perfect place for the stay in Copenhagen. The hotel is clean and has an excellent position: close to the city centre and to the train station. My room was very big and I really liked it. The staff is kind and I really suggest this hotel.

Location is great as just a 5 min walk from Copenhagen central station and a 10 min walk into the city centre. Tivoli Gardens is a stone's throw away. Small rooms but I slept really well and soon got used to not having much space. Great hotel if you are simply using it as a base for exploring.
