The hotel’s locations is EXCELENT. It’s right in the city center. Everything is within walking distance. Rooms are small but have everything you need. Bed is super comfortable, although at first it may seem shocking that the comforter is so small, but I never slept so well. A great experience at Wake Up Copenhagen.

Hotel was very close to airport, affordable to get a taxi, also close to Tarnby station to easy get around the city. Very kind staff. Place is very modern, young and cozy, with comfortable common zones, bars. Great service, we used the laundry, it was cheap. Breakfast was amazing, a bit expensive, but worthy, a lot of local tradicional food, smorrebrod, fruits, cheese, salami, varieties of bread. Beds were comfortable.

Tough time of year to visit as it was freezing cold.

Tough time of year to visit as it was freezing cold. Nice Christmas markets but overrated and not what I was expecting. The metro is easy to navigate and a "must" when trying to avoid the weather.

Beautiful city, beautiful people and lots of great things to see and visit - we did the Christmas Markets and Tivoli Gardens thing, loved it and will go back as soon as we can. Didn't find all of the prices as horrendous as we were expecting due to the poor sterling rate, but some certainly were, avoidable if you're sensible/careful and didn't spoil our visit. Centre is easy to walk round, a canal trip is an essential, and buy a rides ticket in Tivoli!

    Food was the big issue.

Food was the big issue. If you are a vegetarian you need to seriously rethink visiting Denmark. Most restaurants have no veg options - those that do think a potato and a slice of red onion passes for vegan fare. We got by dining in Indian and Pakistani establishments - hardly a doc Danish experience. As all food and drink is subject to a 25% vat things get crazily expensive.

I can not claim to know much about Copenhagen, I want there...

I can not claim to know much about Copenhagen, I want there to see the Glyptotek Museum with its astonishing collection of ancient sculpture. But I did walk around as much as possible and found much that I would have liked to explore at greater length. I took a cab to the Opera House, a real gem of modern architecture and walked through the neighborhoods back to the hotel on my last afternoon when the sun finally came out. I plan to go back, but earlier in the year when it is not so cold and wet. I particularly want to visit the Frilandsmuseet, an open air building museum featuring traditional architecture on 87 acres near Copenhagen, about 30 minutes on the train. There is a fine automobile museum across the street from this. But there is so much of great interest in and around Copenhagen it is hard to decide what to leave out. But I would go when the weather is warm, even at the risk of being among lots of other tourists, in the cold rain it can be a bit gloomy, but there are many great museums for rainy days...

    Perfect city!

Perfect city! So beautifull, great to know by walking, a lot of good places to eat. Danish people are very polite and their culture is great. The public transport is very easy to use and accessible. Tivoli and Nyhavn canal are mandatory stops. I highly recommend the visit to Copenhagen!
