I was surprised to see both an iron and an ironing board in the room. The hotel is very close to the central train station, which made travel easy. Overall, it was great value for the money.

The whole Hans Christian Anderson story is just so cool. the museum is well worth a trip. Also go see the Trolls by Thomas Dambo. there are 3 on the island of Fyn. The zoo in Odense is also very beautiful an well worth a visit.

Charming city with lots to see and has a little bit of something for everyone. Odense is very walkable and you can go around without needing public transport. Hans Christian Andersen Museum was definitely the highlight of the stay. We had our first dinner at Mai's Wok, which had really good price-quality ratio. Copious and delicious food, fantastic and warm service. Also went to Kunst Museum Brandts. Storms Pakhus is a go-to if you want to have great variety of food with a live band or DJ night to follow. It's a fantastic food market where you can eat stuff that's not burgers. We had the best Pakistani tandoori chicken and lamb. We walked by the harbor and saw an area for parkour and a skatepark. There was also a big park in the city with a theater stage for a nice little HC Andersen show for the kids.

This is the 6th year I have been here for work.
This is the 6th year I have been here for work. It is a lovely city to explore. There is history and can be as social or as quiet as you like.Also good public transport though you need an app for the Tram. Recommend getting the DSB app for train travel as very easy to set up and use and if you plan training travel in advance can save yo u money. Wise to book a seat on the trains if any length of time as can be busy.

Lovely town which was easy to navigate and walk around.
Lovely town which was easy to navigate and walk around. We were only there for a day and a half but walked round the town, visited the food court - to be recommended- walked along the river past the zoo.
Some nice restaurants with good choice - a bit more difficult for vegetarians but still doable.
The museums are in the centre - If I returned a car would be a definite as there is a lot to see and do.

The pedestrianised centre is amazing.
The pedestrianised centre is amazing. A mixture of old and new buildings. Good museums. Lovely walking along the river towards the zoo and beyond. Good choice of restaurants but recommend booking ahead specially on festive weeks.
Also enjoyed greatly watching the badminton championship- the main reason for our visit.

Odense has many attractions for young and old.
Odense has many attractions for young and old. If you are a tea enthusiast, you must visit Perch's Tea House for tea and scones in an elegant setting. The Brandt Museum is not worth it unless you enjoy somewhat outrageous modern art including what looked like a dead dog on a small blanket. There are also some great side trips include Egiskov Castle and all the museums around it. The pedestrian zone in Odense has a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and great people watching. We had a good tapas dinner and very poor sushi dinner, so a quick look at menus is highly recommended.

Located right in the heart of Odense, we had a delightful stay in this quaint and cozy accommodation. The location was perfect, allowing us to explore the city's main attractions with ease. The rooms were charming, offering a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The host was also very hospitable and warm, and offered some great food recommendations.

When I camr to the apartment I couldn't open the key box. I phoned the owner number but no one answered. I sent an email and got the answer, that the apartment is overbooked, you can't stay in the apartment. I was standing outside on the street at 10pm and there was no hotel room available in the city. Really bad service.

Very nice little place close to the city center. Stayed here two nights for a work travel. The staff was very kind and the room was clean. I recommend it for a short stay in Odense.
