This hotel is simply outstanding. The view, the beach, the snorkeling, the bungalows are beyond beautiful. But the most important feature is the incredible friendly, helpful and competent staff. It was beautifully designed and clean. Great location and wonderful staff especially Darika, May, Leo, salama, Run, and. Meena. The massages were the best from the lovely Monika and Thung. They all couldn’t have been more helpful out friendly. I lost a sentimentally valuable jewellery item while there and the team went over and beyond to help me even after we had left. Faultless service.

The owner was so caring and wonderful. The hostel was SO CLEAN. The air con was fab when on, free biscuits and bananas. Slightly back from walking street so nice and peaceful. Love the shelf in the bunk and hooks, they've really thought of everything. I was here for 7 nights and it was so easy to feel comfortable/have my stuff out of my bag. The dog and cat are lovely! Loved my stay here

Good vibes and barefoot luxury at beautiful Castaway. We felt so blessed during our stay in our two-story wooden, nicely decorated beach hut. The sweet and attentive staff, the superb food, the great layout of the indoor/outdoor restaurant/library/bar/livingroom with both seat cushions, chairs and benches and a nice and diverse group of fellow travellers made it hard to leave the premises for other adventures. Radiant yogateacher Kimju offers both meditation and yoga several times a day and is so great with the kids that they refuse to leave her after class. Two lovely ladies in the open massage pavillion will brutally work your muscles in all the right spots, sensitive persons beware. The beach is great and there are ample space to swim, beachmats and towels provided. We didn’t really mind a little entertaining longtail to- and fro- ing, as we get really depressed in stale high end resorts. So, if you don’t require roomservice or hot showers this place is your home away from home in Koh Lipe. Also, don’t miss On the rocks restaurant at the one end of the beach and Zodiac beach bar at the other. We’ll definitely be back!
