We loved the manager Chicken. When we went to other resorts my 15 year old actually commented that their staff were not as warm or caring. He missed his handshakes each time he saw Chicken after we had left. The snorkeling ia amazing. The value for money is unbeatable.

Such beautiful and luxurious bungalows. The room, the balcony and the bathroom are very spacious and clean. The personal is extremely helpful and even offered to book and organize our entire transport for the next place we were heading. We felt so well cared for and very comfortable. The only "negative" is that there are a lot of mosquitoes in the bungalow but that is just everywhere on the island probably.

Everything is perfect, the way back to resort was a bit muddy~ They took good care for every customers, providing free shuttle to walking street. Me and my girlfriend were there to celebrate her birthday, they did a nice dinner set up for us. Totally worth the stay, will consider to go back. The most memorable staff was the guy who fetch us every-time to walking street, he knows how to speak Malay, english too bad that i forgot his name.

Our stay at Irene was nothing short of perfect. The resort is located on the best beach of the island, and is so beautiful and new. The rooms are amazing, the staff quick and attentive and made sure at all times that we were taken care of. Loved also all the little details and comfort of the room and the possibility to have your breakfast there. We were staying for our honeymoon and the Irene staff made It super special for us.

The setting is right at the beach and the resort is surrounded by palm trees. Absolutely lovely service! Everyone was very kind and helpful from the moment we sat foot on Koh Lipe. Gorgeous rooms and in our case, the outdoor bathroom was the highlight of it. The resort in it’s entirety is very well maintained which makes your stay really idyllic. I can’t express enough how much we enjoyed staying there.

Good vibes and barefoot luxury at beautiful Castaway. We felt so blessed during our stay in our two-story wooden, nicely decorated beach hut. The sweet and attentive staff, the superb food, the great layout of the indoor/outdoor restaurant/library/bar/livingroom with both seat cushions, chairs and benches and a nice and diverse group of fellow travellers made it hard to leave the premises for other adventures. Radiant yogateacher Kimju offers both meditation and yoga several times a day and is so great with the kids that they refuse to leave her after class. Two lovely ladies in the open massage pavillion will brutally work your muscles in all the right spots, sensitive persons beware. The beach is great and there are ample space to swim, beachmats and towels provided. We didn’t really mind a little entertaining longtail to- and fro- ing, as we get really depressed in stale high end resorts. So, if you don’t require roomservice or hot showers this place is your home away from home in Koh Lipe. Also, don’t miss On the rocks restaurant at the one end of the beach and Zodiac beach bar at the other. We’ll definitely be back!
