The location is few KM's away from the night market. The whole property is very spacious with sufficient parking lots, picnic tables, playground, outdoor dining area and swimming pools. They also provide public toilet and prayer room that can be used after check-out. The breakfast is fairly simple but complete. The waterpark, on the other hand, is more suitable for kids rather than adults.

We were staying here for one night as "pause" place before leaving for an island. We arrived late and therefore did not meet the host, but had a chat via phone. The host was very kind and helpful, answered all of our questions and gave us extra tips. The room is clean and tidy. Close to pier.

Very nice hotel, a few steps to the port. At the same time, they offer free transport to the port. The accommodation includes small refreshments, fruit, coffee and water. Our family absolutely loved this resort on our favourite island Lipe. This resort is terrific for families. Super clean abd large rooms. Our kids loved the enormous pool, which was nice and warm. The resort is beach front and we enjoyed many sunsets, whilst the kids played in the sand and swam. The 'Walking Street' is just a few minutes away, so the location is perfect. The staff were lovely and helpful and our children loved seeing the towel art that housekeeping left them each day. House keeping were great and very generous with towels. This side of the island has a lovely ambience and is protected from stingers. We suggest walking along to the other side of the beach to Sanom Beach. It's stunning, quiet and has no stingers there. It also a great spot for snorkelling. The hotel staff meet you at then port, take your luggage and walk you to the hotel lobby. We recommend for families.

A true paradise!!! We had the best room close to the beach and the restaurant. The room was beautifully furnished, clean, really comfortable bed and sheets. The hotel staff was waiting for us at the ferry, transfer is included. The staff was really great, the food and drink in the restaurant as well. The beach was incredible, awesome colors, clean, with a beautiful sunrise. The hotel is really close to the walking street, we enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Cast Away has a great location, just 5 minutes to the walking street. The bungalows were clean and beautifully located in a lush, green garden. I have stayed in the beach front bungalow for a couple of days and then moved to garden bungalow to balance my budget :) the sunrise was breath taking and although it rained quite some time during my stay, I didn't feel the need to go out and just enjoyed my time in the hotel's restaurant.

Great hotel to enjoy Koh Lipe, very convenient location close to the walking street, restaurants and Taxi bikes. The beach in front of the hotel dont have any boat parked so you can enjoy the nice view and quiet from the pool or the beach restaurant. They have a few pools so they are all quiet and not too crowded. Also the room and facility is clean and well maintained.

We stayed for a week. Absolutely beautiful island.

We stayed for a week. Absolutely beautiful island. We did a lot of snorkelling right off the beach. Lots of snorkelling and dive day trips available at a good rate as well. Walking street is excellent at night. Plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. Delicious food. Motorbike taxi’s available if you don’t want to walk.

It's no different from other coastal small towns with ample delicious and affordable local eateries but better still as a transit point to better interesting Kok Lipe and other islands for much more adventurous vacations.

I don't remember the city of Satun...

I don't remember the city of Satun... There is the Province of Satun. However, the city of Pak Bara is worth visiting, especially the waterfront and the nice (slightly crowded) cafes. The nearby "Mu Ko Phetra National Park" deserves special attention with a long jetty enabling a trip to the time of dinosaurs.

Koh Lipe is honestly one of the most beautiful islands we've...

Koh Lipe is honestly one of the most beautiful islands we've been to. The water is incredibly clear, and the sea stays such a gorgeous shade of blue even when it's cloudy or raining. Photos really don't do it justice—you have to see it with your own eyes. Getting there does take a bit of time, but it's absolutely worth the journey. We'd happily make the trip again!

This island has a lovely vibe!

This island has a lovely vibe! Everyone is chilled, no pushy vendors on the (white sand) beach! It’s very clean and has lots of bars and restaurants. Great snorkeling tours of the nearby islands with beautiful clear ocean and lots of fish to see.

A good place to relax and stop over before you go to Koh...

A good place to relax and stop over before you go to Koh Lipe or Koh Adang. I would recommend Papaya Mom 2 Restaurant for delicious HALAL AUTHENTIC THAI FOOD. A visit by walking or jogging near the Mu Ko Phetra National Park during sunset was awesome and great view.

I was there on business heading to Langkawi so only one...

I was there on business heading to Langkawi so only one night then the ferry the next day. With transport there is a lot to see in Satun. A quiet little backwater coastal town that has a ferry to Langkawi. If I had time I would do more exploring. I ate at the local shops a donut and a coffee. Main meal at my room as I brought it with me in my car fridge. I did go to a excellent coffee shop before checking into my room. Satun is developing but in not way touristic, No crowds

My partner for life / husband lost his wallet at Koh Lipe.

My partner for life / husband lost his wallet at Koh Lipe. We lodge a police report and hotel report. We hope to locate it. But seemed not possible ever. So be careful and keep your valuables safe. Overall Koh Lipe is a wonderful island. Visit it as life is short. Easy to get around the island, walking or by taxi. It's the first island I visited that I need to surrender my passport to immigration. Then I get my passport back on Koh Lipe Pattaya Beach. What a relief ! So clear the waters though the coral reef near the beach is not faring too well. Venture to waters further out and coral reefs thrive. Cheers to all travellers!

I travel to Pak Ba Ra very often. This is the hotel you spend less money while you get more comfortable. After I tried many different hotel, this is the best hotel which more comfortable with less price.
