The pool was crystal clear and perfect. A perfect laid back haven in the midst of all the chaos of Patong. Location was exceptional and able to walk Bangala Road, across the road from the beach. Tons of transport options. Breakfast very good."

"Plenty of shopping options comparing to beach areas, especially during the sunday night market. Additionally the spas in the town are better than those on the beach resort areas in term of quality. I recommend you use one of the many taxi drivers offering their services as you walk in the streets to explore the touristic destination like big buddha rather than getting it with a tour. The reason is that you hire a private driver for much less than a tour."

"Sun (the manager) and his amazing team treat you like family instantly and you honestly feel that the hotel is your Thai home. My family and I will never forget the wonderful facilities, food and warm feeling we received from everybody at the Pacific Club. My sons wanted me to mention Ron and Joso who made their stay by always stopping for a chat. I could not recommend to a family a better hotel in Phuket. Each evening you can ask reception to organise a tuk tuk to take you to Karon main strip for a couple of pound and on a Tuesday and Friday there is a fantastic night market at the temple. Well worth checking out. The best places to eat (apart from thd lovely menu at the hotel) are the tiny restaurants down the side streets. The ones with 2 or 3 tables and plastic chairs where you can see the chef. We ate some of the best food of our lives for unbelievable prices. Leaving a tip in these places goes a long way!"

"Excellent service and helpful host and hotel staff. They helped me to get bike hire, show me around, recommended me the best restaurants, shops, places to go . We become family and friends with everyone who is working for hotel and guests. It were best time ever..!!! Highly recommend Kata Happy Place Hotel . Also great location in heart of Kata next to the market , massage studios and shopping,very close to amazing Kata beach. Very secure and trustable place. I stayed at first floor room with balcony so I can view the beauty and reality of local life and people! I will be back to that place with best memories and respect! Thanks"

"We enjoyed the villa tremendously. It had spacious rooms and facilities. The room downstairs is slightly more quiet. The house was cleaned thoroughly at least three times during our stay and linen was changed. Additional towels were brought promptly. The early check-in was much appreciated and the distance to the town with cafes and restaurant was a very short walk away. We will return and can recommend this accommodation highly!"

"This is just a great area to come and relax at. I highly recommend getting a day bed and chilling out at CCs beach bar where the beer is cold and the food is fabulous. Bang Tao area has a good little shopping street with very ‘Western’ style restaurants and a grocery store - so you can get your avocado toast for breakfast with good coffee if that’s how you prefer to start your day! The Green Elephant sanctuary is also in this area and their elephant experience is a wonderful way to spend the morning while supporting a great cause. Spend a fun evening at the Mini Golf Adventure too - nice course, good game + meal deal, friendly staff."

"I loved this place and I will be returning. It had the sweet mixture of enough facilities, restaurants and bars, without the tourist trap depression of places like Patong. The food was amazing, particularly recommend buying from the fisherman market and having your catch cooked by restaurants across the alleyway. Sunrises were stunning, lots of little waterfront bars and restaurants. Just a really lovely vibe."

"An excellent hotel: we had a room on the 3rd floor with balcony, overlooking the garden and a view of the sea. Pleased there was a lift. The breakfasts were great with lots of variety. Staff were excellent, all of them, I use a walking stick and they always rushed to help me with steps, stairs and getting my breakfast. I can't praise them highy enough. The pool area was nice and well looked after and the "library" was a nice, relaxing large room where free tea, coffee and biscuits were provided; a good place to refresh after a few hours by the pool. The shuttle over to the sister hotel ran regularly and the beach was also over there, with lovely grassy surrounds, plenty of loungers and umbrellas and a nice restaurant and facilities. Back at Kantary Bay there were several local restaurants which we used, and liked them all. The night market along the beachfront was interesting although I was surprised they would not really bargain. There were many street-food stalls along there also, providing a good variety of food. We had 16 days at Kantary Bay and loved it - felt very relaxed after such a nice holiday."

Everything. This place was impeccable and well beyond expectations. I loved the pillows, mattress, soaking tub, pool, activities and gatherings planned by the hotel as well as transportation to beaches. Breakfasts were delicious with a lot of options. Concierge gave thoughtful recommendations and the manager was amazing. The front desk staff in fact everyone, driver, waiters everyone was wonderful.

The owner is very hands-on. He usually walks around checking things and guests. He asks guests about the hotel and if we have any complaints. The rooftop pool is great to chill with a very nice view of the mountain and the beach. The staff are welcoming and friendly. They also have a shuttle going to Karon Beach, though the beach is about 15 mins walk from the hotel.

Absolutely great place! The staff is super nice, the food is EXCELLENT (we had diner, breakfast and lunch!). The room is very very large and clean. The bed is amazing. We stayed only one night but it was a very smooth and nice stay. The mango sticky rice was to die for.
