The property is an amazing place up the hill, with a small spring running right beside, the sound of nature and the running water makes it a dream if you want to relax. It’s a family business, you will see baby Diana running around, grandma is cooking and the guys go out of their way to make you feel at home and provide anything you need. I asked if they could get me a moto taxi and they offered me to drive around the island which was great for a really good price on top.

I highly recommend this accommodation. No matter what you need, the owner and his staff are extremely helpful and ready to assist you with anything. They can even take you to the airport or the pier for a lower price than Bolt or Grab. Listen to the valuable advice from the owner, who enjoys chatting – it will save you time, stress, and money. We definitely want to come back here someday. The location is great, the garden is beautiful, and the accommodation is situated in a quieter part of Koh Samui, which is a big advantage. The owner is very kind and helpful. We rented a scooter for 300 baht, and it worked well. Since we rented it in the afternoon, we even got a discount. The breakfast is definitely worth it. For 220 baht, you get a plate of fresh fruit, two eggs prepared to your liking with bacon, yogurt, toast, jam, margarine, tea, and coffee. The bungalow had everything we needed. They even provide an electric mosquito killer. Housekeeping is done daily, and they replenish free bottled water, toilet paper, and other essentials.

Palm Trees and Pristine Seas

One of Thailand’s most famous islands, Koh Samui (or Ko Samui) is a tropical paradise whose palm trees emerge from the pristine white sands at unbelievable angles, and whose offshore reefs make for great diving.

The most developed resort is Chaweng, though most bars and clubs are set back from the beautiful beach, so the views are still wonderful. Slightly less lively is Lamai, though its beach is no less impressive. Both of these resorts are home to a large number of Koh Samui hotels with private pools, a popular requirement of many visitors, despite the wonderfully warm waters.

Lipa Noi in the west faces Thailand’s east coast and has some beautiful sunsets, while the northern fishing village of Bo Phut is gaining in popularity. Nearby Mae Nam and Cheong Mon both have sweeping beaches that gently shelve into the sea, making them popular family choices.

Travellers don't go tot Koh Samui for its sights – but interesting attractions include the Big Buddha at Bangrak’s Wat Phra Yai temple, and the Wat Khunaram Ko Samui temple inland from Hua Thanon.

The moment our van approached the entrance of Centara Villas Samui, each family members felt “Yes! Holidays begins!”. Friendly team members welcomed us to an open air lobby with tamarind tea and sticky palm sugar + durian candies. We are 4 adults and 2 children and stayed at the deluxe spa rooms which comes with a cute little Santorini inspired porch, clean and beautiful wooden interior rooms, comfortable beds with a window couch and the best of all a balcony with a jacuzzi!!!! They offer 3 lovely pools with plenty of sun chairs, towels. The landscape was simply stunning with flower plants. A private beach was our hangout place and they offer complimentary kayaks for the guests to use. We ate there almost every night and look forward to the different theme nights they offered. They really did a good job to welcome Christmas and New Year Eve (unfortunately we could not experience this as their rooms were already fully booked for the 31 Dec). Delicious local and fusion dishes. Breakfast spread was also good and they make an effort to change the menu every day. We enrolled in the cooking class and was very happy to cook 4 local dishes for lunch. Definitely impressed with the efforts taken by the Chef to teach us the Thai Cuisine. And when you are at Centara, you need to relax those muscles and go for the well-deserved massage and manicure and pedicure at their spa. Thank you Centara Villas Samui for offering my family an oasis away from the heavily touristed crowd. Your place was the perfect place for us to laze and relax and find calmness. Your team members were always friendly, helpful and attentive. We look forward to come back :)

We spent five unforgettable nights at Sala Hotel for our honeymoon, and everything was absolutely perfect. It is without a doubt one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was exceptional, with a beautiful bouquet of flowers, a cake, two fresh coconuts, and our villa beautifully decorated in our honor. The staff were incredibly warm, always smiling, and attentive to every detail. Each evening, housekeeping provided a thoughtful turndown service, lighting incense to keep mosquitoes and insects away. Breakfast was outstanding, offering an impressive variety of choices. We also enjoyed a wonderful evening at the hotel restaurant, where a Thai buffet was served alongside traditional dances and fire performances. We highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable stay.

Without a doubt the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Location was great everywhere easy accessible. Facilities were amazing. The room matches the pictures on booking.com (beautiful), we were very happy with the quality of the room. They offer beach towels in the room and at the pool, they provide a clean toilet area here also. At the restaurant the breakfast was amazing with enough choice, we had this included in our stay, when we were at the pool the restaurant offered a nice menu with drinks/snacks. The restaurant service was perfect, Lek and Min really made a difference to our stay. When we asked last minute for a late check out, it was not a problem. They offered free Kayak/paddleboard which we used, this was a very nice touch. We thought the price was very good for the quality of our stay here.

Amazing breakfast. Excellent service and huge selection. Pool 50 meter long and fantastic view (infinity). Beach not big, but kept clean and very attentive beach service.

Explicitly only the beach, not the "city of Chaweng": The beach is massively crowded by the guests from the hotels there. A lot of hotels claim the beach in front of the buildings as private area, which is bullsh*t. Besides there are only two public entrances ( I found) and there some people tried to get a fee from me for accessing the beach.

Lamai is quieter and more laid-back than Chaweng, which makes it perfect if you want to relax rather than party. Good mix of local restaurants, beach clubs and everyday amenities nearby. Easy to get around by scooter or taxi.

I really enjoyed the half day Elephant Sanctuary tour, it was really enjoyable. We also went on a half day tour of Koh Samui which was interesting, it was a shame about the people we had to share the tour with but you can't help that. Bophut is a lovely area and the beach is good, I did find the floor of the beach felt slimy and muddy but you could go quite far out and still stand.

They do not include any bad photos in their portfolio Which is horrifying when you see what the reality is the room was due to be upgraded but they are still offering it now , but you only see under the guise of the new ones that are online. It was beside a demolished property with rubble and broken tiles , you gave to cross over this to get to the beach . When we arrived the light were not switched on by the staff they are probably ashamed .

Lovely beach, cost & vibrant.

Lovely beach, cost & vibrant. Nice white sand and lovely sea to swim in. A nice combination also with 4/5 star resort hotels and 2 star hotels. So for everyone something. Great beach for the kids too :-)

It's not the best beach to be at.

It's not the best beach to be at. Personally, I only found the space in front of The Culture Hotel to be the nicest. Other spaces, the beach is very short and it doesn't look great. Some restaurants or mixed used spaces dump their water in it when cleaning the floor and such, so probably not the healthiest either. There are many piers along the beach and it's busy with boats

Chaweng Noi Beach was one of my favorite spots on Koh Samui.

Chaweng Noi Beach was one of my favorite spots on Koh Samui. It’s incredibly beautiful — soft white sand, calm turquoise water, and a peaceful atmosphere that feels like a little escape from the busier parts of the island. I loved how quiet and relaxed it was, perfect for swimming or just lying under the sun. The view with the green hills around was stunning. That said, it’s not the best during low tide — the rocks and coral can make it tricky to get in the water. Also, there’s not much going on nearby in terms of shops or nightlife, and some areas can get a bit pricey because of the luxury resorts. Still, for a calm beach day with amazing views, I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Great location in a quiet area of the island. Massage , supermarket and restaurant facilities nearby. Relaxing vacation surrounded by nature. Friendly staff at the hotel and nearby commerce. Waterfall near by.

A nice place with a relatively clean and spacious beach.

A nice place with a relatively clean and spacious beach. You can do a lot of sea and beach sport activities, including watching the sunset and enjoying the night on the beach. There are a lot of restaurants with local and Europian cousine - low, average and higher prices, 7/11 shops, rent-a-car, laundry and other services. Grab is available on slightly higher cost. Renting a motorbike or car is the most preferable option for exploring the surrounding area and Koh Samui in general.

Moonlight Samui is a home ,awau from home. The hosts were extremly helpful with everything i asked for. The room i had was on the front balcony . I spent many hours sitting there watching beautiful sunrises,and even the sunsets were great as well. You are looking out across the bay towards Big Buddha (Bangrak Beach). With koh phan gang in the background.Absolutely Beautiful. When i come back, i will be staying there again for sure. All amenities right around you. Charlie from the Uk
