The staff were exceptionally well trained to meet the requirements of the guests. The room was superb, well maintained. When we had minor issue in the toilet, the host personally came to resolve the matter. The staff were one of the best that we encountered across 9 different places in Thailand on our 45 days tour. The location is great but a bit pricey. The beach is just across the hotel. The housekeeping staff was very polite and accommodating. The cafe attached to the premises was also great. We will definitely love to come back to this lovely place.

The rooms are gorgeously decorated in style, nice and brand new and every single detail the owners have put thought and effort into making the place look perfect. The gardens were stunning with tropical plants everywhere. My favorite was the pool area. I can stay there the whole day with my book and great cocktail from the hotel , totally relaxing and enjoy. The staff members are nice,professional and friendly.

Our stay here was amazing. The location was secluded and beautiful (quite a climb up if you decide to walk it at any stage) our cabin was perfect the fans cooled it down and the bed was comfortable. The shower & toilets were nice and close and only having a cold shower was no problem as it was so warm out! The hosts were excellent, so kind and helpful for our entire stay and the food was absolutely incredible. We’ve been in Thailand for two weeks and the breakfasts & dinners here were better than we’ve had anywhere else!

Palm Trees and Pristine Seas

One of Thailand’s most famous islands, Koh Samui (or Ko Samui) is a tropical paradise whose palm trees emerge from the pristine white sands at unbelievable angles, and whose offshore reefs make for great diving.

The most developed resort is Chaweng, though most bars and clubs are set back from the beautiful beach, so the views are still wonderful. Slightly less lively is Lamai, though its beach is no less impressive. Both of these resorts are home to a large number of Koh Samui hotels with private pools, a popular requirement of many visitors, despite the wonderfully warm waters.

Lipa Noi in the west faces Thailand’s east coast and has some beautiful sunsets, while the northern fishing village of Bo Phut is gaining in popularity. Nearby Mae Nam and Cheong Mon both have sweeping beaches that gently shelve into the sea, making them popular family choices.

Travellers don't go tot Koh Samui for its sights – but interesting attractions include the Big Buddha at Bangrak’s Wat Phra Yai temple, and the Wat Khunaram Ko Samui temple inland from Hua Thanon.

Where to start. We have never said “It’s perfect” more on any other trip - everything was next level perfection. The food was incredible - the breakfast buffet blew our mind everyday. The staff was beyond lovely and helpful, we felt so well taken care of and acknowledged by literally everyone. The buggy system was great, they always knew who we were by name and cared about where we were going and at what time. Free snacks at and in the pool was a sweet surprise, we felt like kids in the best way, being offered a bite of fruit or ice cream while swimming 😂🙌 The grounds were impeccable, the pools were perfect temperature. We enjoyed special nights with live music and a themed dinner on the beach. The whole vibe was romantic and relaxing at every moment of our stay. My husband Adrian is a fan of Muay Thai and trains where we live, so was excited to take lessons in Thailand - we booked them at the four seasons and he was beyond impressed with his trainer Cru An - what a legend! He’s a top 10 fighter in the UK and taught Adrian more in one lesson than a year of twice a week classes back home (and he did 3 lessons!) Oh and massages were AMAZING - shout out to Wa-Wa, our favourite, but everyone was very skilled and knowledgeable. All in all, it was the best stay of our life so far, can’t say enough good things. Four seasons has out done themselves, we’ll be back with family soon!

Amazing property right on a private beach, the villas are with excellent amenities, really spacious, huge bathroom. Staff goes out of their way, despite some wrongdoings of the beach bar waiters their manager offered compensation and such was offered on another occasion. Thus mistakes occur but much unlike EU hotels discount or compensation is immediately available. Fantastic property with some mediocre guest service from time to time but always happy to help and sort out the trouble. Lovely dinners at the beach and some amazing shows with fireworks and fire show. The beach feels private and is very well kept with a dedicated space and loungers assigned tof each villa which is what should be done at each decent property but is exemption (loved the comfort) plus meal and drink service catered right to you while you're resting and enjoying the beautiful landscape. Special thanks to Lilly -she simply made our stay memorable and never spared an effort to deliver best service, that young lady is a real gem.

As a frequent high demanding traveller. I must say that this place is really clean and proper. Also the reason why we prolonged our stay. Nothing bad to say about this accomodation. The staf is friendly and helpfull. I suggest to rent a scooter for 350 bath a day (24hours) and explore the illand. It is a bit far so you have to drive 25 minutes to 50 minutes to get somewhere. You can rent a bike and a Kayak for free . Also there is an adult pool what i like that there is a difference. The room is spacious and come with a flashlight, ironmachine, ear sticks, comb, toothpaste, toothbrush and so on..

Hotel was at the quiet north end of Chaweng but the centre...

Hotel was at the quiet north end of Chaweng but the centre was walkable. At the end of the road it was easy to get a sangtow for a ride there or anywhere else on the island. Beware the center of Chaweng as it is directly under the flight path from Ko Samui airport. South end of Chaweng was quieter. Climate is far better than Bangkok. Cooler with more breeze.

EXTRA BUSY/CROWDED zone with too many tourists and...

EXTRA BUSY/CROWDED zone with too many tourists and motorbikes. Not a very good Thai experience. Can be any beach zone in the world. Bangkok Airways has a monopoly on the flights since they own the airport in Samui, so not enough flights and higher prices that flying to other areas of Thailand.

We really enjoyed this area of Koh Samui.

We really enjoyed this area of Koh Samui. Our resort (Hansar Resort & Spa) was perfectly located and very comfortable. Fisherman's Village was in easy walking distance from our resort and gave us easy access to plenty of restaurants, bars, convenience stores, pharmacies, massage, etc. Unfortunately, we were down for the count most of our trip with stomach issues so we did not venture outside the Bophut area. Even with the illness, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and plan to return soon and explore the rest of the island.

Mae Mam beach is lovely.

Mae Mam beach is lovely. Two very nice chillout bars with beanbags and deck chairs. Couple of restaurants you can walk to along the beach. Our favourite was The moon but. The food was really good, music on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday it would be great if there was a crowd of you.

Lovely beach, cost & vibrant.

Lovely beach, cost & vibrant. Nice white sand and lovely sea to swim in. A nice combination also with 4/5 star resort hotels and 2 star hotels. So for everyone something. Great beach for the kids too :-)

It's not the best beach to be at.

It's not the best beach to be at. Personally, I only found the space in front of The Culture Hotel to be the nicest. Other spaces, the beach is very short and it doesn't look great. Some restaurants or mixed used spaces dump their water in it when cleaning the floor and such, so probably not the healthiest either. There are many piers along the beach and it's busy with boats

Chaweng Noi Beach was one of my favorite spots on Koh Samui.

Chaweng Noi Beach was one of my favorite spots on Koh Samui. It’s incredibly beautiful — soft white sand, calm turquoise water, and a peaceful atmosphere that feels like a little escape from the busier parts of the island. I loved how quiet and relaxed it was, perfect for swimming or just lying under the sun. The view with the green hills around was stunning. That said, it’s not the best during low tide — the rocks and coral can make it tricky to get in the water. Also, there’s not much going on nearby in terms of shops or nightlife, and some areas can get a bit pricey because of the luxury resorts. Still, for a calm beach day with amazing views, I’d go back in a heartbeat.

A nice place with a relatively clean and spacious beach. You can do a lot of sea and beach sport activities, including watching the sunset and enjoying the night on the beach. There are a lot of restaurants with local and Europian cousine - low, average and higher prices, 7/11 shops, rent-a-car, laundry and other services. Grab is available on slightly higher cost. Renting a motorbike or car is the most preferable option for exploring the surrounding area and Koh Samui in general.

We were very pleased with our stay at this house.

We were very pleased with our stay at this house. From the very first day, we were pleasantly surprised by how spotlessly clean it was – the house was perfectly prepared for our arrival. It was also very unexpected and pleasant that the hosts had thought of small details in advance, like toothbrushes. The house was stocked with towels, shower gel, shampoo, cotton pads, and cotton swabs – it felt like we were staying with good friends, not just a rented house. The house is fully equipped with everything necessary for comfortable living: two separate rooms, two air conditioners, stable Wi-Fi, a TV, a refrigerator, and a stove. The house itself is very beautiful, well-maintained – just move in and start living, no need to buy anything extra. Drinking water was also provided, including a water cooler, which was very convenient. The house is perfect for both a couple and a couple with children. The location is convenient: the sea and all the necessary shops are nearby. Parking is available near the house. The hosts were always available, responded quickly, and helped with any questions. We would be happy to come back here again and we confidently recommend this house to others.

Great location in a quiet area of the island. Massage , supermarket and restaurant facilities nearby. Relaxing vacation surrounded by nature. Friendly staff at the hotel and nearby commerce. Waterfall near by.
