Tee and Mark's bungalow was one of the most wonderful places we have ever stayed. We spent 10 nights here, arriving as guests and leaving as friends. Every night in the bungalow, we fell asleep to the sounds of the jungle and woke up in the morning to the sound of howler monkeys. Mark surprised us every morning with a generous Thai breakfast, so we didn't need to buy breakfast separately. We also tried Tee's restaurant several times: they cook heavenly food. The bungalow was cleaned every day and towels were changed daily. We also got a few bottles of water every day, which were stored in the refrigerator. There was a kettle and coffee powder, cups, and spoons in the room. Our bungalow didn't have air conditioning, but it cooled down so much in the evening that we didn't even need a fan. There were mosquito nets above our beds. We were able to rent motorbikes and were given lots of suggestions for things to do. Mark put together a list of his favorite places nearby. There is also a laundry not far from the bungallow, where you can drop off your clothes between 6 and 9 in the morning and they will be washed and ironed by the next day. Dear Tee and Mark, we are very happy to have met you, thank you for taking care of us and for your kind questions and advice. We will definitely be back.

Loved this hotel, rooms were so nice and clean! Option to have room cleaned every day if wanted. So many restaurants nearby (lucky tree restaurant was the best and only a 2 min walk). Beach super close too. We had the room with the pool outside and was perfect. Extended our stay as we loved it so much!

The stay was the best! Super clean and you really get the feeling you’re away from it all. Tucked into the jungle but still close to the beach. The family and staff are some of the nicest people I’ve ever come across—from helping us book motorbikes and airport taxis to inviting us to join for dinner. They really make you feel at home.

Absolutely beautiful room, It was worth upgrading to a suite for the xtra space. The view from the room was spectacular, lovely terrace to sit and have a coffee in the morning, bed was large and comfy. Pool was lovely and nice place to sit and read. Hotel is small enough to feel very peaceful and relaxed. Staff were very friendly, warm and helpful.

From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, everything was great. Every was taken care of, the shower wasn’t hot on the first night, something wrong and it was late but, they answered my phone call and moved us straight away to another room. I asked for late check out, it was granted. The staff was very helpful and friendly. 7/11 right next to it, fresh towels every day, fridge in the room, AC working super well. Walking distance from the old town, honestly the best part to stay on the island. Very clean from indoor to outdoor.

Amazing stay at SAii Phi Phi Island village resort. The staff was helpful when we called them to ask about transfer questions (had booked private transfer). The property is clean and upscale. While construction is happening in multiple cottages, the timings were well managed and property continued to remain clean. The staff is very friendly, the dive center rates are at par with what the village behind sells you (did not book tours at the resort), and restaurants have good meal options, including vegetarian. The village behind the property is must visit for restaurant options. Lanta Miami Resort offers a fantastic beachfront location, providing guests with an opportunity to experience the beauty of Koh Lanta. While my stay was on the Hill Side of the property (across the road from the main beachfront area), the resort's overall ambiance and amenities more than made up for it.The beachfront restaurant is one of the highlights, offering delicious food in a picturesque setting, especially during sunset.

The receptionist at check-in was very friendly and attentive. When we checked in early and went to the beach first, he went to the beach to find us and took us to our room and explained the facilities one by one. I thought we would see him the next day and wanted to give him a tip, but unfortunately we didn't. All the hotel staff were very friendly and we did not regret staying here for one night.

We loved it all! The breakfast was varied and really yummy, being right on the beach was awesome, and the pool was great, especially the kids pool. We loved the play equipment and the friendly staff. We were sad to go and are already trying to see if we can fit in another stay before leaving Thailand. Such a family friendly place, we really recommend it!

I didn’t visit Ao Nang Beech I only went there to get a ferry to Railay beach which I found very pleasant. The only criticism I have is that there wasn’t any bins for people to dispose of there rubbish.

The view is the only thing that is good on this really dated, not well managed place. Access over land is via the jungle - a fight with the neighboring property results in this. Access via boot is ok, but dangerous with waves.

If you are not a "night bird" or "party fun", you like empty...

If you are not a "night bird" or "party fun", you like empty beautifull sand beaches in the morning, like to swim, if you like dinners on the beach and observing sunsets, if you are not afraid of scooter ride (eventhough they drive on the left side in most cases they understand your frustration on the road and are repairing your mistakes with a smile), if you like cold beer, smoothies, fresh fruit and thai specalties...this is a place. You can be arranged for daily trips to coral reefs, kayaking among mangrove trees, fishing trips ect if you want to. Iqos smokers and wine consumers are somehow handicaped, (since I am both) but you can complement those habits with many other "toys"

I took an island hop long tail boat ride on New Year’s Day. It was a zoo. Couldn’t take any photos without a ton of people everywhere. I won’t go to krabi again on new years Day. Monkey beach was nice. Railay beach was very crowded and Aenang Beach was better but very crowded. O wouldn’t go again on a holiday. Good in Krabi is better

Railay Beach is a gorgeous place to visit on your trip to Thailand, its much more relaxed than most resort areas. Tends to attract quite a few backpackers as there is a good selection of reasonable accommodation. Many people from all over the world and easy to access islands for boat trips daily. You can only get there by boat so has a really nice laid back vibe and the main event is usually the sunsets every evening. The beach is good to watch the stars from after dark. Quite magical.

On a rainy day it is boring as f... Very early morning at sunrise is the best time to walk on the beach and take pics. There are very few small shops and mostly mediocre restaurants and massage places

I’m completely biased.

I’m completely biased. I loved everything and everyone involved in the place. No favourite thing. Many favourite things. Jungle, sea, boats cars tuk tuk and all. Most importantly I had the best guided tours on offer. Thank you. One and all. Appreciated and greatful ❤️

Although the staff and location are great.

Although the staff and location are great. They double charged for our room as we reserve through Booking with our Credit Card but then we paid cash( yes I kept the receipt) then later after I reviewed my statement they had charged my CC. I reached out to them 1st per bookings police’s but they didn’t respond. I spent hours on the phone with booking uploading documentation, etc and still nothing is resolved. I am also frustrated with Booking!

Because of tides much of the beach disappeared during the day so you need to be at the right location at the beach to be able to lie on it. Be aware that the bottom can be a bit rough in some parts. Very nice beach otherwise and there is a relaxing wibe overall on the island. We had very good food and there is a fair amount of places to chose from

Ao Nang Beach itself is nice, but there is SOOOO much...

Ao Nang Beach itself is nice, but there is SOOOO much traffic in the street, so not very relaxing. The best Ao Nang activity for me was to go to Railey Beach (10 minute boat ride) and enjoy the beautiful scenery, peace and quiet despite the many other tourists. The fact that there is no cars or motorcycles made it very peaceful, and in some beaches there would be no long-tail boats at all. A beautiful place. Also, price levels were pretty much the same as in Ao Nang.
