The staff was very helpful and warm, thank you endlessly to the lovely lady that runs the place for taking me to the clinic in the middle of the night because I got intoxicated. The bungalows are nice and clean, and there’s two beaches 5 minutes away by foot, but it’s better if you rent a scooter to explore the island. The food from the restaurant is really nice as well. I would stay here again :)

Full immersion with the kindest hosts we have ever experienced anywhere! The Thai couple running this small holiday resort welcomed us like family, cooked breakfast and dinner for us every day (better than at any restaurant!) and even showed us around the area (we were very lucky to be the only guests at that time during low season). The surroundings are so beautiful, completely in nature and feeling far from the touristy area (even though only a few minutes by scooter). We highly recommend to anyone who is willing to immerse themselves into Thai culture and don't want to be in the center of foreign mass tourism in Krabi. We will come back !

Incredible hosts. So friendly. The hotel was very clean, the bed was SO comfortable. Sea view room was beautiful. Location to the ferry was 8min walk and with a scooter, we could get around to the beaches etc or via tuk tuk. Would 100% recommend.

We stayed in a deluxe hut/bungalow. The room was very nice with a lovely patio. The garden is quiet and really beautiful, like walking into an oasis. They have cats and hens walking around the garden. The staff were exceptionally great, being very pleasant and service minded. The hotel helped us with renting a scooter, laundry and airport transfer - all to a good price. Breakfast was lovely, and had everything you would need. Pool area was inviting. Location is at the south end of Long Beach, which requires some minutes walking before reaching a part of the beach where swimming was possible. We didn’t mind. We loved our stay, and will book the hotel again for our next time in Koh Lanta!

We stayed here in last week of Oct 25. It is a huge and nicely maintained property. Rooms are quite spacious and luxurious. Staff is friendly. Location is for those who want peace, away from the busier tonsai pier. We are vegetarians, food was excellent. Nice secluded beach. It takes 25 mins from tonsai pier. We took local longtail boats from/ to the pier. Operators charge u different rates at different time of the day. We paid 1200 bahts for drop to resort, 1000 for drop to pier and 1500 for evening drop to resort. Pls avoid taking a boat in the evening as it was pitch dark and very scary, you are at the mercy of just one person controlling the boat. We had to take a long walk in the water in the dark as it was low tide. So staying here comes at a cost. For checking out, took resort boat for phuket, slightly expensive but worth the money to avoid all the hassles. Overall, highly recommended.

Top-notch hospitality and service - from check-in to check-out, you feel welcomed. The staff is effortlessly attentive without being too intrusive. The food and beverage team is in a league of their own (huge shoutout to Nico!). Quiet, laid-back atmosphere in a natural and elegant package - the jungle is literally there, and you're a part of it, living in a beautiful wooden villa with a patio and a view to die for (even the low-tier ones). Beach with tamarind trees and soft sand - and the sea forming a lagoon during low tide, majestic. Food - quality, variety, portions, flavors, attention to detail, and sustainability - I'm speechless. Activity center - we did the Maya Adventure tour and loved every second of it. I envy those who will be staying longer to experience more adventures with the Zeavola team.

It can be very busy with the long tail boats & people...

It can be very busy with the long tail boats & people queuing but if you walk further along to the left there are sun beds you can rent for the day. Bars & cafes are very good. Lots of massage areas & clean toilets you can pay 20 baht to use

A toll was charged towards the nature park conservation. 20bht per person taken on the pier from travellers arriving. I am positive the total gathered each day is sufficient. It alines with the amount of plastic, glass and other waste which is gathering on the island. If the plastic waste is not dealt with quickly one could question where all the monies collected is going? National parks need to get more than a grip on waste management....educate and deal with this urgent matter. I would not visit a garage dump. Monies need to be spent on insuring the water, beaches, flora, fauna and the Thai residents like tourism can enjoy this unique gift that is Phi Phi Don. Good luck.

The best parts were…

The best parts were… 1) Location beside ‘on the beach’…so it is perfect for a morning stroll and swimming throughout the day in a calm, clear and warm sea. 2) The rooms are a delightfully ‘quaint’ design but have everything you’d expect in a top city hotel. The ‘hammock’ on our private balcony was great for siestas and chilling out. 3) The staff are excellent - great attitude, friendly, professional and very attentive to any request. The restaurant staff are always ‘tuned in’ and the breakfast quality is better than most city hotels. The only ‘opportunity for improvement’ is for the ‘front desk’ management to curtail their efficiency priority…meaning focus more on ‘listening’ carefully to what new guests are prioritising rather than rushing to demonstrate efficiencies in getting people to their rooms and moving on to the next guest. This may sound a contradiction, but we don’t pick this hotel for ‘efficiency’ but for the ‘mood’. Management took this on board and adjusted well.

Krabi is an incredible destination that offers a perfect balance of natural beauty, relaxation, and outdoor activities. During my trip with my partner, staying at Krabi Maritime Resort really highlighted how accessible and enjoyable the area can be. The resort itself is beautifully restored and reasonably priced for such a prime location, reflecting the great value travelers can find in Krabi. Beyond comfortable accommodations and warm hospitality, what truly defines Krabi is the range of experiences available. From peaceful moments like spa and sauna relaxation to more active adventures such as kayaking through forest lagoons and jogging through lush gardens, there’s something for every travel style. Booking island tours was also effortless, with convenient transportation arranged through the hotel, making it easy to explore Krabi’s surrounding islands. Overall, Krabi is an ideal destination for travelers looking for scenic landscapes, diverse activities, and a smooth, well-rounded travel experience.

Railay Beach is a gorgeous place to visit on your trip to Thailand, its much more relaxed than most resort areas. Tends to attract quite a few backpackers as there is a good selection of reasonable accommodation. Many people from all over the world and easy to access islands for boat trips daily. You can only get there by boat so has a really nice laid back vibe and the main event is usually the sunsets every evening. The beach is good to watch the stars from after dark. Quite magical.

Klong Muang is a quiet little town, nothing like Ao Nang.

Klong Muang is a quiet little town, nothing like Ao Nang. But there are enough restaurants and places to grab a drink, and the beach is outstanding. Restaurants we would recommend are The Best and Mother House. There is a lady who sells bottles of beer near the gazebo leading to the beach - great to grab a beer and watch the sunset. And the beers are well priced!

I’m completely biased.

I’m completely biased. I loved everything and everyone involved in the place. No favourite thing. Many favourite things. Jungle, sea, boats cars tuk tuk and all. Most importantly I had the best guided tours on offer. Thank you. One and all. Appreciated and greatful ❤️

Although the staff and location are great.

Although the staff and location are great. They double charged for our room as we reserve through Booking with our Credit Card but then we paid cash( yes I kept the receipt) then later after I reviewed my statement they had charged my CC. I reached out to them 1st per bookings police’s but they didn’t respond. I spent hours on the phone with booking uploading documentation, etc and still nothing is resolved. I am also frustrated with Booking!

Because of tides much of the beach disappeared during the day so you need to be at the right location at the beach to be able to lie on it. Be aware that the bottom can be a bit rough in some parts. Very nice beach otherwise and there is a relaxing wibe overall on the island. We had very good food and there is a fair amount of places to chose from

I didn’t visit Ao Nang Beech I only went there to get a ferry to Railay beach which I found very pleasant. The only criticism I have is that there wasn’t any bins for people to dispose of there rubbish.
