We spent a lovely 6 nights at this hotel. We had connecting rooms with our children, which made our stay much easier and more comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding. The staff were very helpful, especially the gentleman working at the pool bar. His smile, positive energy, and kindness truly enhanced our stay. The free shuttle service to and from the city center was also a big plus, as well as the option to arrange paid transportation at times when the shuttle was not operating. Daily room cleaning and towel changes are also worth praising.

I loved the local breakfast sweets, nature and kind people. It was such a beautiful experience. I felt safe and comfortable. The hot shower and cold aircon was amazing and it's an easy bike ride to Ao Nang or next to the North Wall if you're into climbing.

The staff was very helpful and warm, thank you endlessly to the lovely lady that runs the place for taking me to the clinic in the middle of the night because I got intoxicated. The bungalows are nice and clean, and there’s two beaches 5 minutes away by foot, but it’s better if you rent a scooter to explore the island. The food from the restaurant is really nice as well. I would stay here again :)

The location was great, 2 minutes walk to all the shops and restaurants, about 5 minutes walk to the beach. The room was absolutely breathtaking, we had the pool on the balcony facing the sea so watching the sunset was amazing. The room was very clear and huge, everything was stunning and the staff were all super nice. The macarons delivery every night was a lovely touch.

We had a delightful time at Koh Jum Resort. It is a very authentic place on a hill side located in a pristine bay. The staff, even for Thai standards, is beyond hospitable and accommodating. Upon early arrival they allowed us to join breakfast (although it usually isn't included on the arrival day itself) and made the stay with our toddler more than what we could wish for. A special mention for the resident manager Aom, she made sure we were happy and comfortable. She helped us out with our questions and requests, always very kind and customer oriented. Our accommodation was fantastic, the deluxe villa with a bubble bath, overlooking the sea, full privacy, was a true pampering experience on our trip through Thailand. We would 100% recommend it! Traveling as a family with a child of 4 years of age, all we needed was on premise. Building sand castles at the beach, all toys available to just pick up and play. Plenty of sun beds available. The pool. We also enjoyed the little library they have, with books to read during your stay. Delicious food, tasty cocktails. Rich breakfast, including eggs, pancakes, tuna salad, rice with chicken and vegetables, various sauces, sausages, bread with ham, butter, jams, various cereals with milk, various juices, coffee, tea. Seafood BBQ for dinner on the beach. Beautiful sunsets.

Location at the beach is so great. Everything perfect. Staff, breakfast, rooms -everything. Mosquitoes, yes. Like all over the island, but they have a lot of measures and they know what they are doing.follow this and no problem. We had dinner at two local restaurants nearby. A perfect combo of luxury and local food experiences Recommend the hotel transfer to Phuket.

A very nice location in the center of a beautiful Ao Nang. Excellent staff and super nice breakfast - a lot of options to choose. Apartment was clean and fresh. The swimming pool and a water slide were perfect- this is a great option for those who travel with their kids. This is the place where you really want to go back again.

I didn’t visit Ao Nang Beech I only went there to get a ferry to Railay beach which I found very pleasant. The only criticism I have is that there wasn’t any bins for people to dispose of there rubbish.

The view is the only thing that is good on this really dated, not well managed place. Access over land is via the jungle - a fight with the neighboring property results in this. Access via boot is ok, but dangerous with waves.

Lovely peaceful area.

Lovely peaceful area. You must hire a scooter and visit all the beaches in the south. Watch out for monkeys here and there. Recommend A visit to old town and join a diving trip to snorkel. We saw sharks!

I took an island hop long tail boat ride on New Year’s Day. It was a zoo. Couldn’t take any photos without a ton of people everywhere. I won’t go to krabi again on new years Day. Monkey beach was nice. Railay beach was very crowded and Aenang Beach was better but very crowded. O wouldn’t go again on a holiday. Good in Krabi is better

Railay Beach is a gorgeous place to visit on your trip to Thailand, its much more relaxed than most resort areas. Tends to attract quite a few backpackers as there is a good selection of reasonable accommodation. Many people from all over the world and easy to access islands for boat trips daily. You can only get there by boat so has a really nice laid back vibe and the main event is usually the sunsets every evening. The beach is good to watch the stars from after dark. Quite magical.

On a rainy day it is boring as f... Very early morning at sunrise is the best time to walk on the beach and take pics. There are very few small shops and mostly mediocre restaurants and massage places

I’m completely biased.

I’m completely biased. I loved everything and everyone involved in the place. No favourite thing. Many favourite things. Jungle, sea, boats cars tuk tuk and all. Most importantly I had the best guided tours on offer. Thank you. One and all. Appreciated and greatful ❤️

Although the staff and location are great.

Although the staff and location are great. They double charged for our room as we reserve through Booking with our Credit Card but then we paid cash( yes I kept the receipt) then later after I reviewed my statement they had charged my CC. I reached out to them 1st per bookings police’s but they didn’t respond. I spent hours on the phone with booking uploading documentation, etc and still nothing is resolved. I am also frustrated with Booking!

Because of tides much of the beach disappeared during the day so you need to be at the right location at the beach to be able to lie on it. Be aware that the bottom can be a bit rough in some parts. Very nice beach otherwise and there is a relaxing wibe overall on the island. We had very good food and there is a fair amount of places to chose from

Ao Nang Beach itself is nice, but there is SOOOO much...

Ao Nang Beach itself is nice, but there is SOOOO much traffic in the street, so not very relaxing. The best Ao Nang activity for me was to go to Railey Beach (10 minute boat ride) and enjoy the beautiful scenery, peace and quiet despite the many other tourists. The fact that there is no cars or motorcycles made it very peaceful, and in some beaches there would be no long-tail boats at all. A beautiful place. Also, price levels were pretty much the same as in Ao Nang.
