This little piece of paradise , has lots of soul, this is not however a luxury tourist experience. The setting here is one of freedom , warmth and coziness. Away from polished up facades, this place and it's owners make you feel like your in your home. Open yourself up and you'll find nothing but love here, food is amazing, a mix selection of beach front and in between the canopy bungalows, the environment is one of bugs, monkeys, gekkos and lizards and so these are your house mates,you learn to live with them and your at peace. The place has a wood fired sauna. Which you can use at your leisure ; the price ? Cut some wood. Break a sweat then swim under the moon and stars 🤩. Order a massage right on the beach and rent a scooter from the place to explore the island. Quite a paradise. If your coming get with you some sauna oils .

This place (and Koh Jum/Pu in general) is something special. The place is a forgotten paradise and I hope it stays this way for a few years so we can come back to the same thing. Things here work differently, you live in a jungle on an empty beach, surrounded by monkeys, protected by resort dogs. The manager won't push you to buy anything and yet will arrange anything you want. Daytrip on a boat to PhiPhi? Done. Scooters for a day? Easy. Transport, shuttle to mainland? You got it. Time stays still here and life here is very simple. If you expect luxury or distractions in walking distance, do not come here. If you are looking for a true getaway with as much luxury as a wooden cabin in a jungle on not-touristy island can provide(not much but just enough), this is the place.

This was the most beautiful place to stay! They gave us free breakfast although it wasn’t an option we had booked. The staff are beautiful people. The quaint bungalows are perfect and it really is paradise.

Very busy island - visited at the start of the season and...
Very busy island - visited at the start of the season and there was already a lot of tourists - which is great for the locals! Tonsai Bay is very much a party area. Walking up to Viewpoint 1 and 2 is definitely worth it but is super hot so bring water. The stairs up are quite steep from the town. Booking a sunrise tour to visit Maya Bay was great - we were there at 7am (when the park opens) and already over 100 tourists were there. There are sharks (small) on the right hand side of the bay. I’d only recommend the full day tour (6.30am - 2.30pm) if you enjoy snorkelling. Saw loads of beautiful fish, coral and sharks. Long Beach is beautiful - not too busy and long stretch of sand. You can swim right out to Sharks Point and see the sharks without needing to book a tour.

A wonderful place to stay and chill, or if you want to party...
A wonderful place to stay and chill, or if you want to party there are plenty of bars and restaurants. Scuba diving is a must, please take into consideration that cheapest is not always the best. The beaches are beautiful, lots of little coves to sunbathe and snorkel or just watch the sunset. Long boat can be hired for 2000 baht for 3 hours, which will take you to the different islands. We stopped and snorkelled off one of the uninhabited islands which was amazing. If you enjoy walking there is a hike up to view points 1,2 and 3. If you want a more chilled easy going break away and feel Phuket and Krabi are a little too busy and commercialised, Koh Phi Phi Don may be the place for you. We loved it.

From £92 per nightThe individual "cottage" was superb, with lots of space, powerful AC, and a good bathroom. There were 2 bottles of water, toiletries and towels to use on the beach. The hotel beach is small, but very good. Breakfast was ok, not wonderful and neither terrible. We checked-out at 11:00 a.m. and they kept and carried our luggage to the pier at 3:00 p.m., in time for our ferry. Although the island has lots of insects (obviously), there weren't any inside the bedroom.

The room was enormous, very spacious and even included a mini basic kitchen area! The breakfast was good in general, serving a range of continental options. The staff were helpful and friendly also, and offered a free luggage carrying service from the pier to the hotel!
