Jay, the property manager was superbly good! We had a major problem when travelling from Krabi to Koh Phi Phi.. we missed the last ferry from Krabi to Koh Phi Phi from Klong Jilat Pier..but thankfully when we called Jay, she told us to quickly get to Marina Pier as it was really the last boat to Koh Phi Phi! She was also kind to allow for a slightly late check out as we had a water activity tour really early in the morning and was not able to wash up and check out in time..

I cannot recommend this place enough. If you want to stay in a place made by people with passion for fun and attention to detail this is the place for you. The cosy lobby coupled with the amazing music and the hospitality of the team made this the highlight of my trip to Thailand. I met amazing people at the bar i laughed and just had a good time. It's central so close to everything but far enough from the night life that you won't hear it but close enough to pop back to the room if you forget something. It wasn't only one of the best places in Thailand but one of the nicest places in the world to stay. Mostly due to the staff and their dedication to the concept and just respect for fun. I hope it makes sensce I still get emotional whe reminiscing XD.

I like Koh Phi Phi, although it can be crowded.

I like Koh Phi Phi, although it can be crowded. It was my 3rd stay there, and I must admit it was quieter in the past. It has a nice atmosphere, plenty of options for food and some shopping, some nice beaches around the island. Long beach is nice with some medium snorkelling there. A few fish, dying corals, but we saw several sharks. We visited Bamboo island, what was a total ripoff, thousands of tourists there. And when you get there, you are informed about the 400 B entrance fee per person, and that 1,5 h travel time is subtracted from your total booked stay.

A toll was charged towards the nature park conservation. 20bht per person taken on the pier from travellers arriving. I am positive the total gathered each day is sufficient. It alines with the amount of plastic, glass and other waste which is gathering on the island. If the plastic waste is not dealt with quickly one could question where all the monies collected is going? National parks need to get more than a grip on waste management....educate and deal with this urgent matter. I would not visit a garage dump. Monies need to be spent on insuring the water, beaches, flora, fauna and the Thai residents like tourism can enjoy this unique gift that is Phi Phi Don. Good luck.

Its was a brilliant experience.

Its was a brilliant experience. Loads of activities and interesting places to see. The memorial for the Tsunami I found very interesting and being able to relate to the sheer size of the water mass that hit the island. The boat trip with snorkeling included was super enjoyable. Scuba was good. The restaurants were amazing with so many very romantic locations. Every thing is within walking distance. A hike up to the viewpoint was well worth the walk with a lovely resturant at the top. I simply have no regrets visiting Phi Phi Don.
