We did extensive research on which hotel to choose on Long Beach, and this was by far the best option! We originally booked for 2 nights but ended up extending our stay to 7 nights because we absolutely loved it here. The resort provided a free boat upon arriving and departing, also the resort has everything you need: clean, spacious rooms that are cleaned everyday, comfortable sunbeds, a clean beachfront, one pool with a view of the sea, another pool in the territory, a shower in the beach area, excellent breakfast, super friendly and professional staff, a beachfront restaurant and also a trolley around the territory so it was possible to go from the room to lobby by car. The restaurant was very good and our stomachs felt great (we drank iced drinks and tried different foods). The location is perfect—easy to reach the city center by longboat (10 minutes) or on foot (about 30-40 minutes). However, be careful when returning to the hotel late at night, as there may be some scammer taxi boats (which are not connected to the hotel).
The resort also has its own shop if you need items like SPF cream, water, snacks, ice cream, or anything else. During our 7-day stay, we explored other hotels along Long Beach, and we’re convinced this is the best choice. Phi Phi The Beach Resort offers sunbeds, a beachfront restaurant, a large and green property, a shop, a beach where you can easily swim, and a great snorkeling spot—things the other hotels didn’t offer.
One day, we booked a private longboat tour to Maya Bay (Phi Phi Le Island, the island where Leonardo DiCaprio filmed The Beach) which was a super fun experience! We booked the tour at the bar, located on the hotel’s property. I also had a small injury on my leg, and the hotel staff were incredibly professional, cleaning the wound very thoroughly. Thank you!

This is my favourite place to stay in all of Thailand. The rooms are comfortable and provide a great peaceful view. While phi phi can be a bit crowded and crazy you never feel it here as its sets off at the end of a beach with just a short 10 min max walk into town. They have a substantial breakfast in the morning with made to order omelets, pancakes, cereal, toast, fresh fruit, and more. There were lots of friendly cats around that came by for a visit.

Our stay at Phi Phi Natural Resort exceeded our expectations. The place is incredibly beautiful, with nature truly surrounding the resort and stunning beaches just steps away. The staff were extremely kind and attentive throughout our stay. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options. The atmosphere was peaceful and not overcrowded, making it the perfect place to disconnect and relax. A truly beautiful experience overall.

Beautiful, true to it's philosophy of simplicity and relaxation. We absolutely loved the cabins, they were stunning, comfortable and he service was always very friendly and the staff were always looking at how to make the stay more comfortable.
Everything is thought through, from the transfer to the stay to entertainment. The food is amazing with a whole vegetarian menu with lots of options too.
This is one to come back to.

Amazing resort with its own private beach. The room was massive-bigger than our 2 bed apartment in Sydney! We loved the romantic rustic style. The food was lovely and the bar made great cocktails. The staff carried our bags to our room too which was great as there was quite a few steps. The staff were amazing!

Phi Phi Don is undeniably a beautiful, classic tropical paradise with stunning natural scenery and amazing waters. However, it feels heavily overbuilt and overcrowded, and managing the island seems to be a challenge—there is a noticeable amount of trash once you step outside the main town area. Even without cars or motorbikes, it stays quite noisy and chaotic throughout the day and night.
It must have been an absolute pristine gem 40 years ago! While I would still recommend visiting for its sheer beauty, travelers should set realistic expectations: it is no longer an untouched, tranquil escape.

Phi Phi Don is absolutely stunning, Clear turquoise water, dramatic limestone cliffs, beautiful beaches, and a wonderfully relaxed island atmosphere. It is lively in the main village, with plenty of restaurants, bars, shops, and boat trips, while quieter beaches and viewpoints are easy to find nearby.
The island can get busy, especially during peak season, but its natural beauty more than makes up for it. A great destination for swimming, island-hopping, sunsets, and enjoying the scenery. I would happily visit again.

From the moment you land on the island you are shown such complete care and attention from the staff you feel instantly at home. The food, the drinks, the nightly entertainment by the crabs on the beach, the tropical fish you can snorkel with on a longboat tour with the staff; make it impossible to pick a favourite activity. Though to be honest for me it was definitely a tie between the beachside room & the snorkel trip around the cave. My partner would say the Amazing staff and meeting real life monkeys, but there was so much more than that it’s actually impossible to choose!!!!
The whole staff on the island really gave this trip a special edge. Genuine care and thought went into every effort they made for us, by far our most favourite destination of the entire trip!
One hot tip is that the resort is accessible by 20min boat trip and they have multiple available daily, but to make the absolute most of your island time -make sure you bring what you need with you to limit trips back into town (the town is well equipped so if you do need something you’ll be able to find it there!)
