From check in to check out...the staff was friendly, professional and very helpful....the location of this hotel was perfect for my visit to Coral Gables.

This Coral Gables, Florida hotel is 6 mi from downtown Miami. We are located in the heart of Coral Gables, .5 miles from Miracle Mile, steps away from Giralda Plaza and walking distance to over 100... All went well even though there was no room service and we upgraded to a balcony room but were not able to sit on the balcony because the cushions on the chairs were all wet and soggy. But the room was really nice .

Centered in the business district of Coral Gables, close to area attractions, including the Port of Miami, this hotel offers contemporary accommodations, on-site dining and personalized services. We got a bi-level family loft with a bunk bed, which was uncomfortable for our 3 years old, but Isabella and her collegues helped us change a room, which was perfect. Breakfast is delicious, the staff was overall the best.

Located in Miami, Hotel Ponce de Leon is 2625 feet from Miracle Mile Miami. Built in 1923, the property is within 3.1 mi of Cocowalk Shopping Center and Marlins Park. Sergio, the manager, is a great person and professional! He helped us from the very beginning of our arrival, until our early check out at 5 am, which we're thankful for. The room and bed is pretty comfortable and clean. Felt safe at all times. Located just about 10 minutes from the Miami International Airport (MIA), and a short walk to many buses in Miami that you can take to Miami Beach or any other points of interest. There's also a grocery store close to the hotel, where we could buy food and drinks to store in the fridge and heat in the microwave in our room. This simply made a difference on our stay. Highly recommend the property. Only thing to note is that there's no elevator on the building, so you'll have to carry your baggage upwards, which is not a problem, since the staff is absolutely helpful with guests. Plus, the beautiful vintage style of the building compensates this end ;)
