what's not to love about sleeping in a castle! Great warm welcome, excellent breakfast, bar and diner, superb location in Otterburn with private grounds (with pond) and homing a badger family was a big bonus. The fact that they work together with the wildlife protection makes it a dream place to stay. Other then that we also loved the wallpaper (birds) in our room.

Beautiful house in an idyllic location. Hostess was charming and even provided us with a plant cutting to take home! Luxurious room with the largest bathroom I have ever seen! Sky on tv and were even offered cake on arrival. Lovely breakfast taken in separate dining room downstairs.

The property was spot on and just what we required and paid for.Real value for money.The owner even went out of her way to give us an early check in as we had an event on in town and needed to drop our bags of.much appreciated.

Very nice decoration, Staff was super friendly, breakfast was delicious, I ate at the restaurant and the food was great. On one morning breakfast one staff member told me my boots were gorgeous and it totally made my day!! I loved the little robot that delivers the food, it is super cute.

The room, the en-suite and the furniture was great. The bed large and very comfortable. Many pillows provided. The TV was very good (but didn't use it much). The en-suite was excellent and there were both a shower and a bath tub. I used both, and was very pleased also with the variety of towels and soaps provided. The breakfast was fantastic. A very large selection of food and drinks to choose from, and all of a very high quality!
